We throughly enjoyed our stay here, and will definitely be coming back to this spot! The cottage itself was super cozy and very clean. The location is wonderful and a quick walk to the beach and other locations. It was exceptionally quiet as well.

We enjoyed our visit at Janet and Karen’s lake front house near Mason Lake with my two kids before the school. It was very pleasant and peaceful! Many hiking places near by and checked out the Salmon Center near by with my family and my kids loved it! Too bad the weather was not warm enough for us to swim in the water, otherwise it would be fantastic! Thank you for hosting our stay!

We had the most relaxing stay at this charming beach house! Tucked away just steps from the shore, the home strikes the perfect balance between comfort and coastal charm. From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home — the interior is warm, tastefully decorated, and immaculately clean. One of our favorite features was the private sauna — the perfect way to unwind after a day by the water. It added such a luxurious touch to an already peaceful retreat. Mornings started with coffee on the deck, watching the waves, and evenings ended with the sound of the ocean lulling us to sleep. Beach access couldn’t be better — literally just a short walk down a quiet path, and you’re there. If you’re looking for a cozy escape that offers both comfort and a true connection to nature, this house is a gem. We’re already planning our next visit!

Wonderful bungalow with a well equipped kitchen, wood burning fireplace in the living room and a full view of the ocean both from inside and on the large porch. Brian was so responsive to any and all questions we had during our week long stay. A great experience.

This is a lovely place! The view was amazing, we actually saw orcas right out the front window one morning, as well as seals on a regular basis! There was plenty of room to have our son and his family come for meals. We had a great time!

Beautiful cottage! I really enjoyed having my coffee in the glass house while having a nice conversation. Enjoying the first morning views of the waterfront sitting on the deck. This was a repeat stay @ this lovely, spacious, and cozy bungalow. Great amenities like soft fluffy towels, comfy bedding, handmade soaps and nice bath /shower gels, gives a feeling of a stay at a private resort. So quiet except for a pair of owls hooting in the tall trees around the home. We were given great recommendations for restaurants, and I especially appreciated the owners checking in with us to see if we needed anything. We loved our stay in the charming town of Langely on Whidbey Island, and highly recommend this airbnb as a fabulous stay.

Quiet safe neighborhood with easy commute to everywhere we wanted to go.

The house was clean and well stocked with everyday items such as laundry soap and extra garbage bags, which was very helpful. We enjoyed the location and the house was quaint and charming.

Honu House was lovely. It's a beautiful home with a great living space. We had our toddler with us, and he had a blast exploring the main living area which required very little kid-proofing. The location is very quiet. We had to walk 20 yards on the side of a faster road (that has little traffic) to get to the easement to the beach, but the beach was truly outstanding. In the other direction, there's a beautiful estuary with walking trails. Lucy was very helpful and communicative. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.

My husband and I stayed here for a week and it had everything we needed! The neighborhood is quiet and you’re really close to some great local eats. We had no issues parking, the kitchen was stock full of everything needed to cook and the bed was super comfy. We also loved the enclosed private yard which was great for our dog. I highly recommend staying here!

If I could give Max's listing more stars I would. I absolutely loved my time. From the moment I walked in, I couldn't help but notice how calm and peaceful the home is. I was able to relax and enjoy the sensation of normal everyday pressures being washed away by the beautiful build. A wonderful mix of craftsman style with doug fir beams, an open ceiling, cedar clad walls, soft fabrics and an ipe deck all work in harmony to create a serene atmosphere. The bump-out that the bed is nestled into means you're surrounded by trees even as you sleep. I cooked a lot in a very well appointed kitchen, took brief walks down to the water, enjoyed the claw foot tub, and enjoyed the quiet. Cannot recommend highly enough for anyone who is interested in a restorative, rejuvenating experience.

My partner and I stayed here while visiting friends in Portland. It is a beautiful little cottage located in a peaceful neighborhood. The Coleman inflatable hot tub was a wonderful bonus to our stay. Waking up and drinking my coffee in it was a highlight to our trip. Our drive to and from Portland was easy and quick. I think it took us about 15-20 minutes to get in the city. Holly was awesome at responding to any questions we had during our stay. All in all it was an awesome experience. Thank you! :)
