Lovely place to stay in Seaside. Walking distance to the beach and activities of Seaside while being in a quieter neighborhood.

The culture here is great. Friendly staff and guests during my stay. My favorite of US hostels so far. Their backyard food truck garden is awesome on its own (recommend the pizza), but pairing it with the hostel makes it convenient and fun. This is a social hostel in an old house; you will hear noise and activity. There are events and people stay up late. Quiet hours are enforced about as well as visiting hours in a maternity ward (I.e. they are not). If that doesn’t appeal to you, stay in one of the many other motels or hotels in Bend. This is a good hostel. Some notes: there is only one bathroom on the second floor and a lot of rooms. However, there is a bathroom downstairs and an outbuilding with a bathroom and showers. Room was clean and as advertised. Good location, nice neighborhood.

Our room had some minor cleanliness issues, but overall a great stay. Loved the property and the location was perfect for exploring Seaside/the coast.

The young man that greeted us was a delight. From the time we arrived till the time we left, Asa made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He made our stay extra special!

The room is private and as described! Lot of stuff happening around the house all the time but that is expected at an hostel! Fun people! I wish I had a few more days at this place and Bend! But I was super tired from travel so I wasn't able to enjoy the experience fully... Maybe next time!

Host worked with us for a late check in and was very friendly. Gave us local recommendations to check out in the area. The place had other guests and the vibe was chill, friendly, and respectful. The amenities and vibe seem really cool even though we got in late and food and drinks were closed. It is an old home so floor boards creaked, water pressure wasn’t the best in the shower, couldn’t get the bathroom light to turn on, and the temp was a bit cold then warm in our room. There was a heater in the room we used. Shower had a large bottle of dial liquid soap to wash with. Overall it was a cool experience. Sauna was great!

Nice lil hostel atmosphere. It’s cosy and the kitchen was quite full of bits n bobs of food people had left so I could cook well without having to buy loads of odds and ends

Great location, walkable to downtown Squamish. Close to mountain biking/hiking trails. Staff were friendly and showed us around on arrival. Mountain view from the room. Bathroom/shower room was spotless. Would highly recommend this hostel.

Only stayed a night, but left a really good impression! Staff was exceedingly friendly and place was very well maintained. Would definitely go again!

Typical hostel stay! Everyone was super friendly and the vibes were good. Lots of activities and things to do at the hostel and in the nearby neighborhood. I felt comfortable and safe during my stay!

This is truly a gem of a hostel. My partner and I just got back from 10 weeks of traveling in NZ, staying at many hostels or backpackers along the way. NW Portland Hostel ranks in the top 2! Great vibe, great size and manageable to feel homey and comfortable.

I would definitely recommend it. Felt like a family, and you meet so many interesting people!

Needed a last minute place to stay on a weekend. Wasn’t able to stay for long but would love to come again !

I enjoyed my stay in the female dorm. They provide ample bedding and towels, the kitchen is well stocked, with space to keep your own food. Easy to prepare and cook in. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The common area was cozy, the back of the property is peaceful, overlooking the lake and had places to sit. The bed pods were big enough, and even though it's a shared area I never felt uneasy. It's a bit of a walk to the beach, about 20 minutes but it's an easy walk. You get a lot for little cost and I will definitely book more stays here.

This place is awesome and well worth the money! Comes with a complimentary dinner and I was surprised by how private the beds are. The bar and lounge downstairs is nice and you can get some discounts for the local attractions through the hostel! Would definitely stay here again!

If planning to stay and explore for a reasonable price and great accommodation, it is the spot to be.

Walking distance to Cultural District with lots of restaurants and shops. Will recommend if don’t want to drive a lot!
