We honor the land's history and ancestral stewards by giving 5% of every night stayed to indigenous Mendocino tribes and organizations

From the studio, walk to 2 different beaches, or 5 minute drive to Mendocino. Dogs allowed with registration and pet fee.

We’ve designed a large studio space with fluffy linens, handmade textiles, and natural touches to delight you. Walking distance to the beach, sunset views, a restaurant and store--it's a perfectly-situated restful nook on the coast. If you love a clawfoot tub, this place is for you (there is a comically-short shower intended only as a backup).

Additional $25 for EV - $25 a day per pet up to 2 pets. We have list for wine, flowers for your special occasion. No Stove.

Mendocino Cottage

We're located on 5 wooded acres 10 minutes from the village of Mendocino, Big River Beach, Mendocino Woodlands and Mendocino Headlands. Located in a quiet lush setting of Redwoods, and wild Rhododendrons adjacent to Jackson State Forest. The cottage has one bedroom and bathroom and the living area includes a full kitchen. Quiet and secluded. Located on a paved private lane away from traffic.

The Photographer's Studio

The studio is a sun-filled, very spacious private room with en suite bathroom, and South facing deck, located in a separate building behind the main house in a large flower & fruit tree filled yard. The yard is often shared with Felix our playful tuxedo cat and Blossom our McNab Shepherd. We also rent "Osprey Aerie", the apartment upstairs, featuring a full kitchen, washing machine and dryer.
