The cabin sits across the street from the gently flowing Pine River. Sweat away your adventures in the sauna, relax by the fire pit, or float the river. If you're a biker, we are 2 miles from the Paul Bunyan trail and 45 minutes from the Cuyuna Lakes MTB Trails. We allow 1 well-trained pet under 40lbs with approval.

There's a public access with a beach across the lake in Backus or head over to the sandbar with your favorite beverage and floatie. Two kayaks are also available for your use. Near the entrance to the Foothills State Forest for hiking, fishing, 4 wheeling, and snowmobiling.

Great Up North cabin in a serene and peaceful setting nestled among the trees along Little Pine River. Some have said they feel as though they’re in a treehouse. Two kayaks and a few tubes are available for guests to use, or sit in a chair in the river and cool off. Enjoy the views and sounds of the river and wildlife while sitting by the fire pit, on the cozy deck or in one of the 2 screened in porches. If you feel like being more social, Crosslake is only about a 5 mile drive.

The private cabins are close to many family-friendly activities, restaurants, shopping-- or just stay at the cabin for loads of recreation and fun. You’ll love the pristine and private lake, the views and the location in Lake Country. The cabins are great for couples, adventurers, and families (with or without children).
