Ryan's place was amazing!! It's an older home but so so cozy, warm and inviting. It's on a very quiet and private road with a really large yard and woods with a trail to explore with your fur babies!! The interior of the home was just lovely. Nice large rooms, super comfortable furnishings, and everything was pristine clean!! The king size bed was amazingly comfortable and we felt like we were sleeping on our own bed at home!! The kitchen had all the amenities you need for cooking, baking, and eating of course. The bathroom was sparkling clean and bright. Ryan's mom lives right next door and she was just a sweetheart to talk to. We loved being here and felt right at home!! We will definitely be returning!!

This was my second stay and it surpassed the first! Kellyann is a gracious hostess, the cottage is super clean and homey! I absolutely love it and recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in the Mullet or Burt Lake area, regardless of the season.

The house was immaculate and spacious for the 8 of us. Very comfy beds. We especially enjoyed the breakfast goodies gift they had waiting for us- pancake mix plus maple syrup and honey made on the property!

My husband and I recently stayed at Carly's Aframe with our puppa for a relaxing/private weekend to unwind. The weather cut our stay short, but we absolutely loved the time we had and wished it had been longer! The Aframe is absolutely beautiful. It's cozy, comfy, and Carly truly thought about all the details. With the Aframe being dog friendly, there was items for my puppa to use (dog dish, blanket, garbage bags for outside, and a fenced in area). When some weather rolled in, Carly was kind and proactive in responding to us and ensuring we had what we needed for a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend staying here, and my little family will definitely be back!

We picked the worse weekend ever to sneak away to celebrate my boyfriend's new job. We were so excited to get to Brittany's cottage after a long week of work that we didn't pay much attention to the weekend's weather which happened to include the worse ice storm in 100 years! We ended up losing power and running water and so many trees and power lines were down in the roads that we couldn't leave. We cozied up next to the wood burning stove with some wine and food we made on the gas stove and pretended we were camping. Our weekend wasn't anything like we expected but the cottage was so beautiful and cozy that it made a cold, wintery weekend feel magical even without being able to enjoy most of the amenities. We appreciated Brittany's husband stopping to clear the driveway of fallen trees, dropping off water, hooking up the generator so we could plug a few things in, and helping to get my car out of an icy hole and down the driveway safely. Can't wait to come back! Amazing place!

We selected this home to reunite our adult children and revisit waterways. It exceeded our expectations. Open floor plan made it so nice for meal prep, card games and lazy mornings. Each bedroom had fans and t.v.s. master has it's own bath. patio outside of sliders with table made outside meals nice. Everything you could possibly need from kitchen supplies to beach stuff provided. plenty of parking, enough room for pontoon. Large backyard. Firepit was very private, surrounded by woods. No nearby neighbors, but felt very safe. Boy scout park and short dirt roads short walk in either direction bring you to see beautiful sunsets. Had the power go out from fallen tree and Kayla responded immediately with updates. We would recommend this place for anyone looking to kick back with the family with all the room and privacy we needed to spend time with family.

We had a wonderful stay on Labor Day weekend. Bonfires, wildlife and great weather. The home is beautiful and very comfortable for our family of 8 adults and two little ones. Our first visit to Indian River and it is a wonderful little town. Would highly recommended this property!

We were looking for a home base as we explored Northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula. Brandon’s place delivered and felt like home. Everything was as described and convenient.

Great location to see the area attractions. Beautiful spot on the beach. The house was spacious and clean. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to anyone interested in visiting the area.

A little out of the way from what our plans were but it was much more affordable for our party of 6. It was nice and roomy. Clean and peaceful. Communication with management was excellent.

Comfortable cottage with beautiful views of Mullett Lake. Lakeside fire pit. Listened to the waves at night. Close to trails for dog walking and biking. 🐕‍🦺☀️🌊 I am originally from Cheboygan and was looking for my own place to stay when visiting family. Would book again. Jake was communicative when I had a couple questions. We felt like guests in a historic family home, because we were. We enjoyed seeing some of the memorabilia displayed throughout the cottage.

I had a fantastic stay at Jame’s place! The location was perfect. James provided excellent recommendations for things to do in the area. I loved how secluded /private and cozy it was. My dog also enjoyed being off leash and venturing around. Will be coming back!

Arrived during peak fall Colors. Stunning view of the lake. Lots of outdoor seating. Waking up each morning with a view of the lake from the queen size bed was priceless. Walking the beach with my dogs was so relaxing. Day trips to Petoskey and Mackinaw City. Really enjoyed my week.

Wonderful home and host. Kenyatta was mor than accommodating, very responsive and always took time to answer any questions about her home. I will definitely rent her home again!

We had a wonderful time! Kathleen was extremely helpful and quick at getting back with us. She had everything you needed to make you feel right at home. We had a great time on the pontoon and enjoying the great outdoor space here too. And pet friendly, our pups loved it!!

This place is amazing! Truly peaceful setting. It was perfect sitting in the hot tub and listening to the waves from the lake. The sauna was hot and easy to use. It's a short walk down to the lake and the view is breath taking. The house had everything we needed. The downstairs bed was very comfortable and nice linens. Kelly recommended several local restaurants that were good. We also went to Michael's Steakhouse in Indian River and the food there was amazing! Kelly was a great resource and helped make our trip perfect! We will definitely stay here again.

The host was very helpful and responsive. We enjoyed the home although it was older than we expected. There were no problems that weren’t easily resolved. Cheboygan is a nice town and close to many activities. The kitchen was well appointed. Wi-fi worked was well. Our many thanks to the host.

No complains at all about their place. It was the perfect size for me and my wife and great driving distance from anything you would want to do

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Huron Helm and will definitely come back. Great care was taken to detail, the place was spotless and well-stocked. Katy and Tom thought of everything!

The entire home was adorable. Jessica had homemade lemon basil hand scrub in the bathroom, fresh eggs from her chickens on site, arts and crafts for kids and cute rice heating pads. This was by far the best Airbnb experience we had.
