This was the perfect stay! The home was well appointed, and all the “community” amenities kept us busy! We really felt like we were at a resort when laying by the pool overlooking the lake. I highly recommend Magnolia Overlook. There was even a wedding at the beautiful “Main House” and we would have been none the wiser if Dave hadn’t given a heads up, they were very respectful! We will be back.

This location was great for our large family gathering. We enjoyed the spacious rooms and the multiple bathrooms so everyone had privacy. The TVs don’t have “smart” features to be able to log in to streaming services - so keep that in mind but we enjoyed doing puzzles and playing with the arcade games. Would definitely recommend this location for a family getaway.

House was great, views were amazing and a nice peaceful area

Great clean house, plenty of beds/baths. As an extra cherry on top, the host was extra-responsive to requests and communication needs. If you have a large group and are adventuring in/around Leesburg, I don't think there is better place to stay. We'll definitely look up Chestnut Bay again the next time we are in town.

This place was amazing! Spotless clean, very safe, easy to find, gorgeous views! The host was exceptional, they had left us everything we needed and they also had an additional list of supplies and tools you could request for free! They provided lots of games and activities like Kayaks. They had put together a book with all the information you'll need about the area including restaurants, hikes, parks, etc. we had an amazing time, it was peaceful and quiet! Just what we needed! The hosts were super responsive and very polite! We literally got a response in less than 10 minutes! I will 100% come back and have already recommended this place to all of our family and friends! Thank you so much for such an amazing Arbnb rental.

It was a great place to rest and relax for a couple days. The home was so cute and cozy. It was very clean and has everything there that you could need. She is very responsive to messages and even left a sweet note with some goodies for us. The only issue with the house was it was pretty chilly when we arrived and also in the mornings and the electric heaters take a little bit to warm the house up.

We spent a wonderful two days in this unique, colorful, and inviting house. Everything we needed was provided for us, and there were lots of extras like a popcorn maker and juicer. The style was retro but very clean and updated. In under 15 minutes we could get to Little River Canyon in Citadel Boulders. A great place!

Man kan nye udsigten og den flotte solnedgang fra huset. Søen er dejlig. Man kan bade og fiske. Vi var enda heldige at låne deres private badebro og badedyr. Tak for jeres venlighed. Huset virker stører end på billederne. Dejligt rent og mange gode køkkenfaciliteter. Kan kun anbefale huset til andre. Meget skønt og roligt område med udsigt til bomuldsmarker.

My family and I had a great time in Fort Payne and surrounding areas. Janice’s home was absolutely perfect! It is close enough to town without having to drive a long time but far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle of the city. The house was spotless and the pictures are identical to where you’re at. VERY well stocked in all areas. Definitely recommend to anyone!

Great place to stay with Family and enjoy the lake. Easy access to lake and only a few minutes from restaurants and stores. The air works great. We loved the screened in back porch. We enjoyed making memories at Paw Paws place. Thank you Katie.

This was a last minute trip and we were limited on the places available. This turned out to be a perfect location. It is off the beaten path but close enough to the parks and beautiful scenery. The home had everything we needed. It was well equipped. We enjoyed using the fire pit and the grill. Orbix glass studio is right down the road and Little River Canyon is too. Fort Payne isn’t too far for shopping.

Our stay was very relaxing and we enjoyed our family time. The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed sitting out by the lake and kayaking. Nathan was a great host and gave helpful information and recommendations. The neighbors were amazing and offered to let us park in their grass. We will definitely be returning.

Wow! This house was just perfect for our group of 15! The house was clean, beautiful, and very spacious. The owners were super kind and responsive! The hammocks, porch swing, dock and fire pit allow for lots of outdoor activities. I highly recommend this beautiful house!

The house was bigger than we expected. The yard to the dock was an easy walk. Quite. Screened in porch was excellent! We had a great stay!

This place was perfect for our family! The kayaks were locked and the paddles weren't accessible, but we made a call and they were quick to respond and sent someone to get them out for us!

Great place to stay and very clean. It is kinda out in the middle of nowhere we felt like as far as a town to make a run to get something but we had mostly everything before getting there. We stayed for the event going on at Indian Mountain Atv Park which is about 35 min out so parking was a little tight for 3 trucks and trailers but owners were plenty helpful in letting us use the backyard as well. Overall no complaints.

My family of 6 has a great Labor Day weekend at this lake house. The boat launch was extremely close and we were able to enjoy fishing the whole time. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice rustic place with a beautiful view of Lake Weiss. The beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend! HOWEVER…. There is no WiFi and Cell Service is awful. If you are the type that needs to be connected at all times, this place is not for you. I actually enjoyed being disconnected for a weekend. So it was perfect for me and my crew. I will definitely return!

Our large family of 11 adults plus 12 children all agreed that this was the best house we have ever rented. It accommodated us beautifully. The bunk room was a dream come true for all the cousins (children). The lot was great and had easy access to the lake. The kitchen was huge and very well equipped and the living space was wonderful and we never felt the least bit crowded. I don’t know how our stay could have been improved. Thanks so much!
