AWD isn't needed (our Nissan Altima does great) It can be intimidating at first, but you will conquer and in no time enjoy the challenge! The cabin is in a mountain community called Ocona Lake Estates. Located 5 miles from Bryson City and 5 miles from Cherokee NC/ Oconaluftee Visitor. Catoloochee Ski resort is 18 miles.

Also close to the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, white water rafting, tubing, Harrah's in Cherokee, and the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The views are gorgeous from the hot tub on the deck. Road to the cabin is mostly paved but the last few minutes are graveled with a few steep areas. The driveway is also. Two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, the other with one full bed and one twin bed face mountain views.
