Just got home after 3 nights in Iwans place in Bala. This place is spotlessly clean, beautiful inside from top to bottom. The four kids loved the outdoor space for playing and they loved the hot tub too. Bala is a beautiful town with lots of options for eating out, take aways and has a couple of fresh bakery’s. Centrally located in north wales with LOTS to do for all ages around the area. We got the small steam train, went white water rafting both within minutes drive from here. Can’t recommend this place enough, we will be back thanks Iwan

Brilliant little home, clean & really comfy beds. Was a perfect location for us to attend a friend’s wedding less than 10 minutes down the road. Even the little touches of a biscuit/jam basket and a little bottle of milk so we could have a coffee as soon as we checked in. Amazing. Thanks so much Joanne, perfect get away for us.

A beautiful, quirky cottage that was ideally suited. Very close to Newmillerdam and its restaurants and pubs. More suited to shorter guests below 5 foot 8 as the door frames, mirrors and shower are all pretty low. Beautifully decorated and very clean.

Had a lovely long weekend in Clawdd Offa Farm. Photos of the property were plentiful and accurate and communication with Ben was easy. The house itself is comfortable and well kitted out with some lovely touches. The tranquil location and the hot tub really made our college reunion trip special. And there was a fab little welcome basket on arrival. Definitely recommend!

We had a brilliant 3 night stay at Lucindas cottage. The location was exactly what we wanted, very private and quiet and has a great outdoor area. It is close to Eryri NP and Betws-y-Coed which are great to visit. Alien Reservoir and Llyn Brenig are within walking distance and have some nice quiet walking routes. We would highly recommending booking here!

It’s a wonderful experience staying here. It has best towels I have ever experienced, comparable to the top quality hotels. The e bedrooms suits us very well. We also spend a lot of time in the kitchen and dining area, eating and working. I also give high remarks on the interior finishes style. And many others, including some tasty biscuits prepared for us.

My stay at Foxt Cottages was nothing short of spectacular! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, with rolling hills and lush greenery providing the perfect backdrop for a relaxing escape. The private swimming lake was a highlight, offering serene views and a refreshing dip right at our doorstep. The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, making it easy to unwind. For our little one, the activities were a hit—plenty of outdoor fun to keep them entertained while we soaked in the peaceful vibe. The hosts were warm and attentive, ensuring every detail was perfect. If you’re looking for a tranquil retreat with stunning landscapes and family-friendly amenities, Foxt Cottages is a must-visit! We’re already planning our next stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home in Lytham, using it as a base for a dance competition. The house is beautiful, full of thoughtful touches and attention to detail. The area itself is just as charming and we only wish we had stayed longer! Mark was a fantastic host—great communication and full of local knowledge. Would highly recommend this little gem. Safe to say, we’ll definitely be returning.

Simon's flat is beautiful, clean and well kept! The surrounding area is idyllic. It was perfect for our stay within easy reach to Lark Lane and lovely park walks on the doorstep. Simon greeted us on arrival and had detailed written instructions / information to make our stay run smoothly. We would love to come and stay again! Thank you.

I was delighted to stay in this Airbnb. I felt instantly at home, it was warm, cosy, v comfortable and clean. I would definitely recommend and stay again. It was just down the street from the train station, and the local shops of Waterloo

Great host! Thank you Andy for all your help during and especially after our stay! Forgot my keys, and Andy responded immediately, personally went and found them and posted them the next day. Communication was impeccable! Also the apartment was perfect, exactly as described, clean, comfortable beds, great shower, and everything needed for the stay. Nice touch too having tasty biscuits, milk, tea and coffee for arrival. Albert quay and the city were a leisurely 15-20 stroll, (or cheap Uber ride away). Check in and check out were simple and convenient. Couldn’t recommend this place more highly. Ten out of ten!

Beautiful cottage next to Lake Bala and lovely hosts. Nice village 10 mins walk away and a reasonable drive to bottom of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). Only disappointment—adjacent to quite a busy road.

Lovely cottage with everything we needed for our stay in the middle of peaceful village! Emma was a very responsive, helpful and friendly host. Recommend this place!

Gorgeous little cottage, beautiful frontage with extremely comfortable garden sofas and throws, plenty of crockery and glasses, lovely furnishings and a delightful friendly dog next door who comes to his gate for a stroke.

If you like to see Woodpeckers, Nuthatches and Jays feeding just outside the window and want to hear only the sound of birdsong and a babbling stream then this is the place for you. Okay, netflix, prime etc is available if you have an account with them via the smart tv, but why not turn off the tv and enjoy the serenity? The reviews say it all really - enchanting. The only negative (for some) may be the 15 min drive up the one track, steep and bending road, its not for the nervous driver, but once done, you get used to where the passing places are and it is all part of the adventure of staying in this beautiful part of the country.

This is a lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings. John was very accommodating regarding our late arrival and the cottage was easy to find and exactly as described. The cottage is very characterful and comfortable, with everything you could possibly need. The garden is beautiful and very private. Thank you John, we’ve had a wonderful stay.

Lovely place which had everything we needed. We have an anxious and reactive dog but this place was just perfect. It was safe with a contained garden. Owners responsive and accommodating.

We loved our stay in this pretty cottage. It was very clean and comfortable and incredibly well equipped. Plenty of room to spread out and sit and chat in the evenings. The front garden is a sun trap and a great place to sit and chill after a busy day. The cottage was easy to find and the key safe makes it easy to access and means you’re not tied to a specific time. Great power showers and comfy beds too. The perfect place to stay if you want to be in Betws.

A peaceful and relaxing stay with beautiful scenery and plenty of walks near by which was perfect for us. Bala is just a few minutes drive away which has all the amenities you'd need for a short or long stay. We took our fairly reactive dog with us and she settled in right away and slept soundly through the night. We cooked a roast on the first night and the kitchen was well equipped for this 🙂 Wifi was good in the lounge and we loved the DVD collection! The bedroom was downstairs and the bathroom upstairs, but this didnt bother us at all! Just something to bare in mind for those who aren't as abled. Would recommend this place for anyone wanting a break from the hustle and bustle and for those who love walking/water activities 😁
