We had an amazing time. The house is spacious, fully stocked with peaceful and amazing views. The host is super responsive and helpful. Great place for family with kids. It is next to walking paths, the river and close to downtown, but private and quiet at the same time. Georgi also took out from his free time to help us with a flat tire. We will definitely come back and we highly recommend to everyone visiting Varshetz.

friendly host, proactive communication, good location

Dejan is a brilliant host. He was very kind and always responsive, even before we travelled to his cabin. We were welcomed with coffee and Rakija on our arrival. He was very kind and helpful when we needed assistance, but stayed out of our way otherwise even though he lives on the same property. The view from the property is simply breathtaking and the cabin in general is extremely comfortable. The kittens that live on the property made the stay even more enjoyable. The cabin is found in quite a remote location, some 30 minutes away from the nearest town, and the road to it is a bit rocky but not uncomfortable to drive on. We enjoyed our stay at Dejan's cabin and would book again in a heartbeat. 10/10!

Wir haben allein in einem Haus gewohnt. Es gab alles, was man benötigt: Wohnzimmer, Terrasse, WLAN, 2 Schlafzimmer, Bad mit Badewanne, Küche mit allem Notwendigen). Alles ist in einem sehr guten Zustand, sauber + ordentlich! Es gibt einen schönen sehr großen Garten, den wir uns zuerst teilen musste, da auf dem Grundstück noch ein Haus steht. Aber das war kein Problem. Wenn das Gartentor/Gartentür geschlossen ist, dann ist alles komplett geschlossen/sicher. Das war für meine Hunde wichtig! Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einem alten, idyllischen Dorf mitten in einer sehr schönen Berglandschaft. Fantastisch für alle die Ruhe, das Land, Natur, Berge lieben. Die Dorfbewohner waren sehr nett! Die Gastgeber waren super: Sie haben mich in der Stadt abgeholt und sind mit mir uns Dorf gefahren, da ich kein Navi/Internet hatte. Sie haben mir sehr geholfen, da ich Problem mit meinem Autoschlüssel hatte. Sie haben mir frische Eier besorgt + mich über die Gegend informiert! Alles war super!!!

A cozy room in a wooden guesthouse by the road. The room is small, consisting of a bedroom combined with a living room-kitchen area and a private bathroom. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the kitchen was fully equipped (pans, a cezve for coffee, an induction stove, and dishes). Note that the tap water is not drinkable, but the hosts informed us about it in advance. Pustolov and Bilja were attentive and polite hosts. A couple of suggestions — it would be great to have insect screens during the summer, and the bed is starting to sag a little. However, there’s also a sofa in the living room that is firmer. I can recommend this place for short stays for 2–3 guests.

Arrivés de France, nous avons été très bien accueilli par Dragan dans son logement. Logement propre et spacieux, Dragan a été très compréhensif et arrangeant avec nous. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Perfect place for parents with kids (not only of choose, we would have loved it as a couple too). Dining outside and kids playing made it very special for us. Close to the grocery shop that works until late made it convenient for fresh vegetables, fruits and other things. We would choose it again if we stop at Varshets :)

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Magarija! This place is a hidden gem for anyone looking to experience true Serbian village hospitality. Sergej was extremely polite and helpful. The property itself is stunning—surrounded by beautiful nature, with breathtaking views of Dimitrovgrad and the mountains. It’s the perfect place to relax, unwind, and reconnect with nature. The peaceful atmosphere, combined with the presence of friendly animals, makes it an unforgettable experience. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with incredible hospitality, Magarija is the place to be. I can’t wait to visit again!
