Better than the photos - which doesn’t always happen. Perfect for families and young children as they have everything there. The house also has everything you could think of on site so need to bring much. Great place to relax and enjoy family time :)

We had the most amazing stay at Karen & Antony’s stunning home ! It is absolutely beautiful. Very spacious and ultra clean and tidy, we loved the decor and the most fabulous views WOW ! The bed was very comfy with a great shower and kitchen. Karen & Antony are wonderful hosts, very kind, friendly, helpful and lovely to chat to we wished we could have stayed longer. Set in the perfect location we didn’t have a car and were able to visit Surfers Paradise & Paradise Point by bus very easily and the local supermarket is only 5 minutes walk. We also walked to pretty Labrador to see the fabulous pelicans being fed which is a daily ritual at 1.30 pm. We would not hesitate to recommend this very special home thank you so much for looking after us Sarah & Martin x

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The house on the water was even better than we expected - honestly, the photos don’t do it justice. The views were stunning, especially the sunsets, which were truly out of this world. The home was spotless, beautifully set up and had everything we needed. It was especially great for families with young kids - lots of thoughtful amenities that made our stay so much easier. Highly recommend!

Enjoyable residence and great for large families. Great location if your planning trips to MovieWorld & Seaworld like we did. Also quick drive down to beach & local Broadwater Restaurants. Nothing really in walking distance, so be prepared to drive. Hosts were great & responsive, however there is a rental property at the front of the house that appeared tenanted while we were there, that wasn't explained, so took us a couple of days to work that someone was on the property with us. Overall, good stay with the family in lovely house.

Amazing stay. Walked into music playing and lit candles on a rainy day 😊. House came with everything you need for a short stay. Beautifully styled and relaxed/ homely feel. Thanks for a great stay. Will definitely return!!

Our vacation couldn’t have come at a better time. It was in such a peaceful and secure location didn’t have the need to go out. The coffee shop down the road was very convenient and coffee was great. Felt very safe in the area. House is very spacious and comfortable. We really loved our stay and the host was exceptional

We had a wonderful time at this waterfront hidden gem property. Tamir was an exceptional host with fantastic communication every step of the way, ensuring all our comfort and needs were met throughout the stay. Checkin was a breeze with clear instructions and the place was beautiful with plenty of surprising extra comforts provided. Our dogs really enjoyed the large back yard and the Jacuzzi was an exceptional bonus! We enjoyed the beautiful sunrises every morning and managed to catch a few fish of the easily accessible pontoon. Thanks so much Tamir and hosts for a lovely experience. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed at Anchor on the Bowsprit for 5 delightful nights. The location of the first floor apartment is perfect - overlooking the canal, surrounded by floral & fauna. The apartment is very well presented and spotlessly clean. It was incredibly well-equipped - especially the kitchen. Bedrooms were of hotel quality and the beds were very comfortable. Karen was very warm and welcoming and responded to any emails very quickly. We would have no hesitation in staying again - or recommending Anchor on the Bowsprit to friends & family.
