This self-contained unit is an annex to our own house so we are available to welcome you, offer advice or help you plan your stay. The accommodation is on 2 floors with the lounge/kitchen area, and bathroom + shower downstairs, and a large, double bedroom upstairs, 2 sofa beds + child's sofa bed. It is comfortable for 2-4 people but can sleep up to 5 people with two single sofa beds downstairs. If you need an extra bed, a double bedroom is available in the house. Relax with the whole family at this lovely place to stay. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac, this house is also perfectly placed for easy access for public transport (tram/bus) to Mcr city centre, both Utd and City’s grounds, Co-op Live and Mcr Arena and Mcr Airport. It’s a few minutes walk to the local shops and also only a 15 minute walk to restaurants, cafes and pubs. This house has a pull out double sofa bed so it can house up to six guests comfortably. Lovely peaceful garden to the rear.

Idyllic short stay breaks for one or two people

Thorneycroft Shepherds Hut offers short stay holidays for one to two people as an idyllic getaway to the peace and quiet of the countryside. It is situated in a quiet corner of our yard with uninterrupted views down our fields in the picturesque village of Kettleshulme. Great for exploring, a mile up the road the is Goyt Valley and Windgather Rocks, ideal for walkers, climbers and cyclists. In the village there is a local pub, The Swan, that serves excellent food, booking recommended.
