Wonderful location, close to town. Had everything in the kitchen to enjoy thanksgiving with the whole family!! Definitely recommend and will rebook!!

Gorgeous mountain retreat is a perfect way to describe this property. I found everything in the description of this property to be true. In my opinion Karla’s description was very humble and we found the property to be much better than expected. Entire family celebrated my father’s 90th birthday, and found the house plenty spacious for all of us. With full living space on the main level and downstairs we never felt crowded.The house was immaculate and very well stocked with items that were above and beyond any other property I’ve ever stayed in right down to the firewood. Directions were easy to follow and communication was always done in a timely fashion. If you want to relax, do nothing, enjoy the views this is the place for you. If you want to be active, go hiking, play golf, tennis, etc. this is the place for you. If you want to grill out and watch football with the gang, this place is for you. So if you have a large group, and you are looking for a mountain getaway, I recommend that you stop looking and book this property NOW!!

The house was a perfect getaway for Thanksgiving! The kids enjoyed looking for crawdads in the creek, the playground, and yard for our Turkey Bowl. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials. It was a short drive to downtown Blue Ridge. We really enjoyed our stay!

The house was plenty spacious for 7 adults, 1 baby, and 2 dogs. The large sofas were extremely comfortable and fit all of us comfortably and the beds were comfortable too. The property was beautiful and we enjoyed exploring the local area and would love to come back.

Our family has been coming to Bear Paw for the last 20 years for our family reunion. This was our first time in this cabin, and it didn't disappoint. Plenty of space, and our children truly enjoyed the game room and well stocked board games. We ended up meeting the neighbors when enjoying the lake and they were so wonderful as well.

We needed a place for our blended family to finally meet and have time together. One of the bedrooms had bunks which became the kids room. They loved it. They also loved the game room, playground and bathing in the heart shaped jacuzzi. The view is amazing, overlooking a pond with the mountains in the background. We had groups playing golf and tennis. It was too cold for the pool but I’m sure the kids would have been there if it was warm. There is a beautiful waterfall closer than I thought. There was plenty of room for everyone to dine and just be together. It is definitely a place we will keep in mind for future gatherings.

Mary Jo and Lina’s place was perfect for our family! It had so many kid friendly accommodations and was well kept and just a short walk to shops and restaurants! We loved our stay!

Beautiful views! Stunning sunrises over the mountains from the welcoming & relaxing porch. Unbelievably gorgeous. Pretty sunsets visible from the gazebo & fire pit area. We appreciated the very comfortable bed. We were well-rested for all our vacation adventures.

We had a wonderful stay in the cottage. It was squeaky clean with modern decor, nothing outdated. The location was perfect, in such a beautiful valley. The host was always quick to respond and very kind. We look forward to returning in the future.

Jenny’s home was so beautiful! As someone who is often anxious in new places, I felt right at home. All the doors were easy to lock and the property felt safe! As a bigger girl, the king beds were so comfortable and the master bath didn’t feel tiny (unlike some other Airbnb’s I have been to). But fair warning to us bigger folk, the bathroom towels don’t cover too much. The view was stunning. To just sit on the front porch to eat breakfast, see such a broad and beautiful view, and to hear and see the local wildlife was just what we were hoping for! Plus, the hot tub was clean and comfortable. Even though it was in an open porch area, I also wasn’t anxious about that either. The driveway is pretty steep, so if anyone was coming up the road we definitely would’ve known. Glad my car is AWD for sure. Jenny was also a very responsive host for any questions before and during our stay! We would absolutely visit again. :)

The cabin was a nice place for a staycation. Plenty to do while on the ranch. Grill, games, cooking utensils,& spices. Pet friendly and very private. Bring groceries and fill up before you check in because it’s far away from town.

We had an awesome stay in Hayesville! The house was super clean, freshly renovated, and you can tell a ton of thought went into every little detail. It was so comfortable and welcoming. Our girls really enjoyed the bunk room and spent a good amount of time checking out all the books. Such a great spot — we’d 100% recommend it to anyone!

Lugar ideal para escapar de la rutina y oxigenarse con la naturaleza. Tranquilo, pacifico y con total privacidad. Jessica se encarga de que sus huespedes se sientan cómo en casa o tal vez mejor. La cabaña muy comoda y super equipada. Cuenta con una coleccion de entretenimientos para los dias de lluvia o simplemente si uno prefiere no salir y quedarse a descansar. La cocina super completa hasta en los pequeños detalles. Es un lugar al cual volveria y recomiendo al 100%.

This was our second time staying at this beautiful cabin overlooking Lake Chatuge, and we want to come back every year. The screened in porch is a great place for relaxing, drinking a cup of coffee, and watching the lake. The space inside gave us everything we needed to rest and relax for the weekend, and the showers had great water pressure (which is not always the case with other places we’ve stayed!). Mary has always been so kind to interact with and very accommodating.

We stayed at Sara’s place for my son’s high school fishing tournament at lake chatuge. It suited our needs perfectly. She was extremely flexible with check-in and check-out, which is always so helpful when you’re traveling from a long distance. The place was spotless. Sara’s communication was great. The house was well-stocked and comfortable. And she definitely wins for EASIEST checkout process ever. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks Sara for making our tournament weekend worry-free!
