The home was much more than I expected. My host was super.

We had a great time during our stay. The beds were comfy, the cabin was clean and very nice, and the hot tub was a fantastic addition! Definitely was able to rest and relax and everyone slept so well! I will for sure seek this place out for our next stay in the area.

This is a return stay for us as we have enjoyed this beautiful property previously. This home is gorgeous and has a spacious layout. Host Kimberly is fantastic to work with. I highly recommend to others traveling to the Madison, NC area!

I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay! The house felt right at home and was on a beautiful property….only complaint is we didn’t go when it was pool season! Would’ve loved to see the pool. Sally was super helpful and responsive! Highly recommend!!!

Great location and the pool and fire pit were the perfect amenities to end a day of riding! The host was very responsive and made planning our trip, getting trail passes, check in, and check out seamless. We couldn’t find any extra supplies at the house (ie paper towels, trash bags, etc.) so recommend bringing some of the day to day basics with you. Would definitely recommend to others!

We had a great time staying at Dwayne’s place! Beautiful views of the lake in the evenings and plenty of golf courses within a 30 minute radius. Will definitely be back!

The home is beautiful. Rustic in style only, not in comfort, appliances, furnishings, linens, cleanliness. Kitchen and baths are well appointed. Views from inside and huge wrap-around deck outside are gorgeous. On a large 3 acre lot, so very private nestled in massive trees. Easy private River access on property for wading and tubing. Kayaks supplied. Cooked all meals there on 4-day stay. Just like home with modern and plentiful kitchen supplies. Lovely complimentary snacks and coffee set up. Great basement room with double & single bunk bed, full bath, small fridge fosse ball, couch and entrainment unit. Home includes three full baths and a powder room, 3 lovely bedrooms in addition to the basement suite which makes it super accommodating for large families or groups.

The place was beautiful and private with great views and not too far away. Linda & Michael were wonderful. They were very nice, helpful and ready to meet any need to make our stay relaxing and memorable. We look forward to going back in the future.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. We hosted a my hokie son and a few of his hokie friends for Easter dinner and this home was perfect for what we needed. The home was spacious, clean and the location to the campus was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Really nice cozy home , very clean and accommodating. Our first time visiting the area and would highly recommend the home and location if it fits your needs. King size bed was an added bonus for us!

Molly's place is one of the best places I have stayed. She has thought of everything! If you need it, it is probably already there. We loved the locally made soaps and lotions, the welcome basket with snacks, and the springtime decor. This house has comfortable furniture (reclining sofas!) and is a peaceful retreat. It is an older home, but well loved and maintained.

Thank you, Richard, for a WONDERFUL stay at your cottage. We came to Blacksburg so that our dog could have her surgery at Tech and Richard's cottage location couldn't have been more perfect. We laughed to each other when we discovered everything we needed was 7 minutes away or less. The bed was so comfortable and the entire house was spotless. Since we needed to stay for a few days this really felt like a great landing spot for us, a home away from home. We had to make many trips to the small animal hospital and were grateful that it was such an easy back-and-forth from the house. Richard was extremely communicative, kind, and responsive. Check-in/check-out was easy. Nice that parking was right next to the house. Next time we come back we'd love to use the fire pit (just too busy this time around). This will be our spot when we come back to Blacksburg -- if it's not already booked. Thank you so much, Richard!

We were attending a wedding in the area (at The Shiloh), and this place was perfect for my wife and I, plus our son & daughter in-law with their 2 infants and also our 2 yellow Labs. The place is well equipped and had everything we needed. It even had a crib for one of the babies and a fenced yard for the dogs. The house is on a ranch where we were all able to walk around the vast property and see horses, goats, and sheep. Great views of the mountains in the background. Sally was a great host. She is very friendly and responded almost immediately to any questions that we had. I would recommend Sally and this house to anyone looking to stay in that area for an event or just a nice peaceful get away in the country/mountains. There is also a banquet hall located on the ranch property for parties or events.

everything was exactly how its showing. great place to get away if u love the mountains. nice quiet place. would highly recommend to anyone and everyone.

We were very satisfied with the home. Angela was responsive to all questions in a timely manner. There is a large herd of deer frequenting the property and we enjoyed watching the yearlings play in the yard.

Great place with a stunning view. Very peaceful and lots to do. I rented cabin for end of year 2024-25 with my family and had a great time! We walked to the nearby creek & used the firepit, swings & did a lil exploring in the area. Wei was a great host, very attentive & communicative. I highly recommend this place.

Charming house that truly felt like staying at Grandmom’s in the country. Large enough for a bigger family, 2 small families or a small group of friends. Lots of room to spread out. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of what would be needed for cooking meals. The surrounding area was beautiful. Perfect peaceful scenery for sitting on that front porch swing listening to the birds and watching calves chasing one another on the hillside. Freshly baked brownies were a thoughtful treat waiting for us when we arrived. Would definitely stay again.

The place was convenient to the event I was attending in the area and the house was clean, comfortable and quiet. Plenty of kitchen items to make our meals in the evenings which was a plus for us. Would stay again if in the area. Ryan was very quick and responsive to any and all questions we had.

Great place to hide away for a few days....quiet and private. Good location as far as getting to near towns of Floyd and Stuart. Comfortable house.

The pictures don’t do it justice! Cathy’s place was wonderful for our family (11 people - 3 kids, 8 adults). It was beautiful, clean, great views, and more than enough room for everyone. My dad is disabled so it was important to find a place with a main floor master. Cathy’s main floor master was accessible and extremely disability friendly. My whole family had an incredible time. Our favorite part was definitely the deck and the amazing views! We will definitely be back again.

We had a great experience staying at Susan’s house. The house was very clean and well-maintained. Susan was very helpful and courteous allowing us 2 hours grace rime for checkout. The neighborhood was quiet, safe and convenient. Overall, we'd recommend and return in my next trip to Virginia.
