Modeled after the Pigeonniers, a 17th century status symbol in southern France, La Tour seems to rise straight out of the native Texas stone to hover among the neighboring oaks and cedar. Enjoy a spectacular river valley view, while you relax in this charming private cabin just minutes away from boat ramp access. This cabin sleeps four, with a queen bed downstairs and another queen bed upstairs. It has a full kitchen, WiFi internet and a fully fenced yard. Pets are also always welcome. Bring your fishing poles, boat or kayaks and head over to Hamm Creek Park to enjoy the tranquility of the river. Approximately 50 minutes from Fort Worth and an hour and 15 minutes from Dallas.

Set on our wooded 10 acre property, guests are encouraged to enjoy the slow pace and simple pleasures of living in the country. Head down our dirt drive and let your worries slip away. Breathe in the fresh air, enjoy coffee on the porch, and settle in to relax for a while. We love The Farmhouse for its large front porch, cedar siding, lush beds, vintage decor, and beautiful views.

Nestled in wooded seclusion, Lonestar is our most private cabin at Ducky’s. The perfect getaway, this modern cabin lacks no comfort or convenience. Featuring a full kitchen, large walk in shower and comfy king beds. Enjoy the 20 acre property adorned with enormous pecan and live oak trees overlooking the vast scenic pasture of highland cows and mini donkeys. Sip your coffee on front porch rockers and catch a glimpse of the deer. At the end of your day, wind down around the large fire pit!

Mesa Top Couples Retreat! The Powelldale Mountains are on the west side of Lake Whitney, just south of Kopperl Texas. These cozy cabins have a stunning 300-degree view of the lake and surrounding countryside. Cabins are located on a 44 AC ranch with 100 feet of elevation change to the cabins on the mesa! The north and south cabins are listed separately. Feel free to book 1 or especially both. The listings have pictures that are unique to each cabin, and this is the south cabin.

Only an hour SW of Fort Worth, Texas. It’s about 45 minutes to Glen Rose and the Dinosaur park. This cozy cabin get away is nestled along the Brazos river and 18 minutes from historic downtown Granbury. You can even come for a middle of the week getaway!

This darling cabin is nestled right along the Brazos river, with picturesque sunsets, relax as you take in the scenery, there is plenty of wildlife most times of the year. Great romantic getaway for 2 or just to relax away from city life. It is about 10 minutes from the historic Town Square of Granbury, enjoy shopping, dining and antiquing, we are 5 minutes from Barking Rocks winery, 30 minutes from Glen Rose and Fossil Rim.

Wanderer

Camp in luxury in this boutique glamping cottage nestled in the trees. It is complete with a queen size bed, coffee bar, mini fridge, a/c and heat, front porch, outdoor furnishings, fire pit and picnic table. It is a 1 minute walk to the uniquely crafted stone and cedar bathhouse, which has a real toilet, sink and hot shower. Fire pit has a grill grate but bring anything else you need for cooking (pans, utensils, etc.)
