If you are looking for breathtaking views all around and an escape from the noisy world, this immaculate, modern and cozy home rental is for you. The retreat exceeded our expectations and was the perfect way to experience the solace of NZ’s South Island. We felt pampered by everything — from Michelle’s generous breakfast offerings (and me being able to cook in her amazing chef’s kitchen), and the heated bathroom floors and exquisite soaking tub, to the softest sheets we’ve ever slept on and the gigantic picture windows in every room pointed directly at the Pacific Ocean beaches and green meadows and foliage all around us. Bonus was seeing the brightest stars and the Milky Way up above! We can’t wait to come back.

Amazing accommodation, such beautiful surroundings. The house had everything we needed, it was very warm and comfortable. Would love to stay again. So much to do in the Catlins area and the little town of Owaka was a short drive with everything you could need. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is an older home with the quirky features of one, but most importantly it was CLEAN! The linens clean and fresh, kitchen and the rest of the home as well. Lots of room to spread out, lots of wood to keep us warm, many games, books and magazines. The puzzle coffee table was great and the evening found the family gathered around it. Location was good view o and close to the water. Highly recommend.

Bull Creek is an absolutely lovely spot. Quiet and remote with lovely bush and beach walks. The neighbours were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Walking in the nearby bush being deafened by the bellbirds a definite highlight. Views from the house of the sea was spectacular and the coastal walks and seeing the seals and lots of birds was another highlight. All of us agreed that we would love to stay again.

We had an incredible stay at Jacks Bay. The crib was perfect for our needs and the location was very special indeed. It’s basic but cosy and clean.

We stayed for one night with our dog and felt right at home. We met Craig when we got there and he's super nice and had some helpful ideas and recommendations for the Catlins. The place is clean and has everything you need. Awesome shower!!! Very comfy bed. Just a lot of Mosquitos around but there's a mesh for the bed to sleep well at night. Would definitely stay again :)

Wir haben hier 2 Nächte in diesem geschmackvoll eingerichteten Appartement verbracht und haben unseren Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen. Der Ausblick auf das Meer einfach traumhaft schön. Das Bett war fantastisch und es war alles mit so viel Liebe eingerichtet. Es ist uns schwer gefallen, diesen schönen Platz wieder zu verlassen. Wir können diese Unterkunft wirklich empfehlen. Danke für alles, auch für die nette Geste mit der neuseeländischen Schokolade.

I stayed one night with my daughter at Sarah’s place. The view of the sea was beautiful, close to the restaurant/pub, beach and quiet. Very clean interior, comfortable beds, and chocolate treats were an added sweet touch. Definitely would like to return and stay at this accommodation.

Fabulous stay in a perfect location!! Epic views looking out over Kaka point and a 1 minute down hill stroll to the local restaurant. Comms & check in super easy + super easy to find , great car parking and a spotless, modern , warm studio. Couch could have been a bit longer fir sprawling out and watching the waves !! Wonderful stay , highly recommend and would defo stay here again! Many thanks.

We enjoyed this unique and spacious apartment. One very large bedroom and living space with a separate bedroom for kids. Separate kitchen with enough facilities. Grocery store and cafe just 2 minutes walk and enough to do around the area for a few days.

Excellent place, worth the money and dealing with Kim who is so kind and pleasant made the stay even better.
