Excellent séjour chez Catherine ! Je recommande vivement ce lieu pour les voyageurs cherchant un endroit familial, paisible et au vert. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis. De nombreuses activités sont possibles même avec des enfants en bas âge.

Un séjour magique : maison très agréable, spacieuse, cozy offrant une vue imprenable sur un écrin de verdure entourant un très joli lac, véritable bijou naturel, reposant et apaisant. Le logement est très bien situé et permet des activités diverses au sein des trois départements alentour (Charente, Gironde, Dordogne). Enfin, Laurence et son époux vont accueillent avec une bienveillance et une générosité naturelles ; ils sont toujours disponibles et souriants, et sont sans aucun doute les meilleurs hôtes que j’ai eu le privilège de rencontrer. Se logement et impeccable si vous avez une femme et un enfant se lui si et très propre le seul truc qui manque c un rideau de douche mais le reste es parfait

Vous pouvez venir passer quelques jours dans la maison de Martine, très bien accueilli, bonne communication avec les hotes dans un espace bien aménagé

Nous avons passé un séjour des plus agréables. Le cadre est reposant, c'est un privilège de pouvoir observer la faune, et d'avoir comme voisins des canards, carpes koï, coucous, lièvres... Le bonheur est au bord de l'étang assurément. Un environnement à apprécier à sa juste valeur, avec calme et discrétion !

Corrine and Stéphane are exceptional hosts! They go above and beyond to ensure that all guests feel welcome and taken care of throughout their stay. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality make the trip perfect in every way. We had an amazing experience and will definitely be recommending their place to everyone we know. We can for another visit!

Catherine et Michel sont disponibles et très gentils. Nous avons choisi leur dépendance dans le cadre du FIBD. Bien qu'un peu excentré, leur logement cozy et chaleureux a été tout à fait accessible en utilisant les bus (15min de la gare d'Angoulême) pendant tout le festival. Un grand merci !

De passage pour une nuitée en famille chez Myriam. Très bonne communication en amont. Hôte très accueillante et disponible si besoin (ce qui ne fut pas notre cas car tout a très bien fonctionné). Studio très calme,très propre et fonctionnel avec tout ce qu’il faut. Très bonne literie. Un très bon séjour dont nous gardons précieusement les coordonnées afin de visiter la région. Merci beaucoup

La maison est très agréable, tout est calme, parfait.

Almost don’t want to say how lovely, as will make it more competitive to book to go back! In a word - glorious! - The gite, gardens and grounds and pool are kept beautifully. Gite was spotless and very well equipped (including lots of goodies on arrival, garden games to use there - kids were very happy - charcoal ready for the bbq etc), huge comfortable beds, and wood fired hot tub to sit and look at the stars. - Stunning surrounding views (endless fields of sunflowers) and lovely shady woods to be walk. - Lots of pretty villages - particularly Aubeterre with its central square and river beach worth the short drive (under 20 mins). We also loved the big river beach at St Aulaye (c.40 mins). - Meg and Mark are kind, fun and knowledgeable hosts who were perfect balance of around and incredibly helpful - but very much left us to just relax and enjoy the gite/pool as our own. - Shopping v easy at local supermarkets, various markets and nearby village shop/butchers. Thank you!!

Louise et Mickael nous ont très bien accueillis, avec en plus une bouteille de vin blanc et des bières au frais ! Très appréciable ! Nous avons passé une semaine de vacances agréable au Moulin Chaillou. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine, que les enfants ont adorée (4 ans et 1 an). Tous les commerces sont à proximité, la plage est à 45 minutes, ainsi que l'aquarium, etc. Si besoin, n'hésitez pas, Louise et Mickael sont là pour répondre à vos besoins.

Great for a short stay in a beautiful part of France! The host instructions re. local amenities and activities are super helpful given the relatively remote location.

We had an wonderful time. The house was great and the garden is huge with an orchard in the next field which we could access. It is an absolutely beautiful place. We were made to feel very at home by Laetitia, Thierry and family (they were in the main house for some days of our stay and the rest of the time we were alone on the vast property). They were extremely generous about letting us use games and canoes etc and could not have been more welcoming to us. The surrounding area is very beautiful and peaceful. The river is nearby and there are lots of possible areas for swimming as well as walking. We really enjoyed visits to Angouleme and Cognac and other pretty villages. Most of all we enjoyed sitting in the garden reading and relaxing and going running in small largely deserted roads around the house. It was a really lovely holiday and I would definitely recommend this highly and fully hope to go back again.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits absolument incroyables dans ce logement. L’environnement est vraiment superbe, on se sent coupé du monde ! Nous recommandons fortement !
