I had an incredible stay in Ridgway! The glamping tent at The Valley Basecamp 550 was peaceful, clean, and beautifully tucked into nature. Waking up to the mountain views and falling asleep under the stars was truly magical. The space had thoughtful touches that made it feel cozy and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring nearby trails and hot springs. Communication with the host was easy and responsive, and check-in was a breeze. I’d absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with the outdoors. Can’t wait to come back!

This place was absolutely beautiful! The fire starter kit was a nice touch and so easy to use. The views were perfect for coffee around a fire. 100% would come back!!

William has a beautiful location to walk a short distance into for the tipi or tent camping ( which I chose). The stars were super bright and beautiful at his remote feeling location, though it’s only some 20 miles from Pagosa on a well maintained 11 miles of 2 lane gravel road. The sounds of the Blanco River lulled me throughout my stay. I wasn’t sure what to expect with the amenities— there is a full outdoor kitchen with a wash stand, covered seating and table, a charcoal grill, and a Coleman grill, replete with dining and cookware. Cold Potable water was also present. As well as A shower and toilet facilities. Most surprising to me was the elevated shower with HOT WATER ( rain water I believe). It felt like taking an outdoor shower when I left the door open— amazing experience. William also served breakfast and 420 happy hour— with a variety of items. I loved the homemade granola and cookies he provided. Williams place was wonderfully unique and I will be back in the future— with thoughtful amenities and beautiful setting. It was a one of a kind camping trip and I highly recommend it, except for those with limited mobility.

The fire was already going and we had all we needed to sink in and relax. Host’s staff was super helpful and took great care of us and the setting is absolutely amazing!

Beautiful property! Great accommodations! Wish I could have stayed longer. Wine tasting was great & staff was friendly & very informative. Love love love this place will definitely be back.

I just finished my second stay at RoFo Ranch and I still adore it. My first stay was in August and my initial thought when I arrived was "fairytale beautiful." So many things to love at this secluded oasis that make it feel a bit magical. During summer, the marmots are adorable galloping about or sunning on rocks. The cliffs are stunning in any season, but they were extra gorgeous in October during the height of leaf color. The tent inside the giant willow tree, the private hiking trail, the hanging bridge, the luxurious bath house, all the thoughtful touches to make your stay comfortable in any weather. It's great fun watching the wildlife (marmots, prairie dogs, deer, a fox, an eagle, many birds). I enjoyed both star gazing and comet watching this trip. The hosts are responsive, friendly, and full of good recommendations. While the canyon feels very remote, it's only a short drive into town and it makes a great home base for exploring the area. I hope to visit again!

This is absolutely the best find in all of Colorado! The tent was clean and the bed was so comfortable. The view from the porch is incredible and extremely private. I loved the fire pit on the porch too, we used that every night. Bathrooms were spotless, which is such a pleasant surprise especially when camping or glamping of any kind. Overall an absolutely breathtaking spot where many special memories were made, and we will definitely be back!

Beautiful and clean spot!

We loved our stay at camp v. Such a beautiful spot right on the river. The team at camp v have created such a relaxing space with so many cool touches. We stayed in one of the onion tents and slept better than we do at home. Such a chill place to spend a few days. The living room with the big bus was such a fun place to hangout and check in with the world and also meet other travelers. The bathrooms are clean and nice. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you, Natalie, Kaylee and Carson for making our weekend amazing!

Thank you Gigi & Victor for the incredible stay!! We booked with them super last minute and they were very responsive and accommodating! The location was incredible, absolutely beautiful scenic views, peaceful, quiet and surrounded by nature. Even though we brought our own stove and camping gear, everything you could possibly need they already provide! They were there to greet us when we got there and gave us some great recommendations on places to visit, hike, and eat. The bed was SUPER comfortable and cozy, we slept like babies while we were there! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to go off grid, relax and enjoy great views!!

It’s hard to describe this place in words. It’s breathtakingly beautiful and a once in a lifetime experience. We stayed for 3 nights and it wasn’t enough. Everything in the yurt is well thought out; from extras like the record player and telescope to the essentials for the kitchen and bathroom. The bed was really comfortable and we loved opening the yurt doors and watching the sunrise over the mountains from bed. Ben and Amy were very accommodating and responsive. Make sure to download the directions ahead of time. Waze was the map that accurately took us to their property (but we over shot it by accident without it). You won’t regret booking the trip and enjoying this experience!
