Stunning views across the Sooke basin from the house and deck and at the various seating areas on the beautiful property. Sunsets from the hottub were top notch! The house was as described and well supplied, we appreciated all the toys and games for little ones as well. As previous reviews mentioned there is some road noise.

This is a beautiful and peaceful place. I enjoyed my time here. I would say that this space is a bit tricky for 3 people to stay. The bathroom is between the kitchen and the living space. So sharing that made things tricky, but that sauna and hot tub make up for it! You have to be creative and communicate if you are working with a team of three in this space. Overall great experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah's cabin in the woods. The lighting and atmosphere of the place was just what we hoped for from the description. We were pleased with the private space and took full advantage of the hot tub and proximity to Mystic beach. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a quiet and relaxing spot that is near the surf or hiking trails of the Juan de Fuca trail.

Seven of us stayed a week and we didn't want to leave. We will definitely try to stay here again. The house was perfect on a quiet street steps away from the fantastic Cook Street Village. It was about a 20 min walk to downtown but the loveliest walk as we often went through the park seeing peacocks and deer. The beds were very comfortable and the first floor was such a wonderful space to hang out with lots of seating for all of us and we actually ended up cooking quite a bit because the kitchen was so well equipped. Drew was also the friendliest host we've ever had on an Airbnb as well. I highly recommend this house!

We loved staying here. The house is great. The front porch, the side deck with grill and sun chairs and outdoor dining is great. The dock on the water is fabulous. Any specific questions or issues were addressed immediately. Its a really lovely spot. You can't do better on Shawnigan Lake!

Our first visit to Vancouver Island and our family of four really enjoyed our stay at Tina’s Airbnb. Quick access to Sooke town centre and amenities. But also great location for exploring the Juan de Fuca trail system as well as East Sooke trails. Tina was a very responsive and gracious host! We will be back next spring for sure.

Nice location on lake. Large deck on the back of house with lake views. Large dock with easy water access. Quiet location at end of the road so no road noise. Sean is friendly and will greet you at arrival, gives interesting history about the house and is responsive.

This cabin was so dreamy! On our drive in, we spotted a beautiful gray fox and a few deer. The forest surrounding the cabin is just beautiful. The cabin had everything we needed. I thought I wouldn’t like to walk to the bath house, but honestly I thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s only a short walk, and it gives you multiple chances to spot wildlife. The bath house is clean and has everything you need. I especially enjoyed the French press coffee and slow mornings reading in the cabin

Cozy private space in a safe and nice neighbourhood, close to a trail to walk the dog. Stay can be a bit on the noisier side with the highway on the other side of the bushes but did not bother us too much.

Diane’s place was lovely! Amazing way to escape the city and be with the nature! They greeted us with kindness and farm fresh eggs! They have donkeys and lambs and chickens running around outside and even some water view visible from the airbnb. We can not wait to come back and would recommend this place to anyone who seeks some quite nature time!

We had an amazing stay at Scott’s cabin! The place is absolutely adorable—nestled in the woods with a peaceful pond right out our door, it was the perfect nature escape. We booked last minute, and Scott couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. The cabin is also dog-friendly, which was a huge plus for us. Everything was clean, cozy, and well thought out. We truly felt welcomed and comfortable throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place, and we would definitely stay again!

Beautiful Getaway! Our family of 5 (2 adults, 5-year-old, 1-year-old, small dog) spent American Thanksgiving week at Carley's place on Pender Island and had an amazing and relaxing week of family time. The house is even more unique (in the best possible way) than the pictures show, the views are amazing, and the kids spent days just exploring the space. We hiked each day, explored the island, and enjoyed the sunsets and fireplace. The hosts are communicative, and the place has all the amenities you could need. 10/10 would recommend and hope to come back again!

The location of this rental was even more beautiful in person, than in the photos. On a 25 acre farm, it had water and mountain views and was peaceful and relaxing, while at the same time only a short drive from amenities (restaurant, coffee shop, grocery). The rental was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Trish and her husband were very friendly and responsive to our needs. Our dog also thoroughly enjoyed her visit, and especially the two resident Goldens! It's a great place to relax and disconnect, we used the wood fireplace which was real nice touch. Highly recommend we would definitely return.

We had a great stay at Melanie and John's airbnb. It was squeaky clean and they had the nicest welcome basket with eggs (the eggs were delicious) in the fridge which was such a nice surprise. We set up a meeting with them to meet their goats. They had a great guidebook for the area, and lots of fun details like boardgames, colouring books, and a record player. We spent most of our time during the day driving out to go to Sooke potholes, botanical beach, and other natural tourist hotspots which weren't too far out for a day trip. Overall I'd highly recommend this airbnb!

This house looked exactly like the pictures and was very comfortable for our family of six. It’s conveniently close to numerous fantastic activities, with Fisherman’s Wharf just around the corner. The beds were very comfortable, and the apartment was beautifully furnished and fully equipped. It is a wonderful place to stay, and I highly recommend it!

Amazing hosts! Very responsive! Very friendly. We even made sure to give them some of our Rasta pasta! Beautiful home and can’t wait to come back.

This place was perfect for our family of four. we easily felt comfortable and at home. Clean and well maintained. Easy to get to. check-in and check out were easy. Felt very secure. The location is wonderful, incredibly walkable. Close to everything. Would not hesitate to stay again!

Agata’s place was so beautiful, in a great location and very comfortable to stay in! There was lots to do around the area and it felt very safe. It was very easy to check in, even when going with a vehicle and the instructions were super easy to follow. Agata also responded quickly to messages and made communication stress-free. We very much enjoyed our stay in this apartment building in Victoria. Everything was clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. We loved the view from our balcony of the bay and Fisherman’s Warf, the walkable location to downtown Victoria, and the option for a Water Taxi right next to the building. Parking the car in the garage at no additional cost was a beneficial convenience as well. We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend this airbnb to others.

The place and area we stayed in was great for being central, right on the ocean, walkable, safe, clean. The suite was suitable and clean, well stocked with kitchen utensils and dishes. The areas that I would like to see improvements are: a better idea of what suite you will be assigned… our suite and the pics in Airbnb where quite different, instructions as to what is expected at check out, more towels for 5 people and the discrepancy between the resort check out time( 11 am) and the Airbnb checkout time (10 am).

We loved staying at Deanna’s. The resort was excellent and the kids had a blast. Lots of games in the unit, kitchen was well equipped for 2 adults and 3 kids under 12. Beach was great and when it rained, the heated indoor pool and games room was amazing!
