Fries is adjacent to the New River and New River Trail. The river and trail are a few blocks from the cottage- within walking distance. The river is a popular place for tubing, kayaking, and fishing! The New River Trail has 57 miles of great hiking and biking. The outdoor hot tub awaits when you return from a day of outdoor fun!

Has a sink with hot/old water, a hot plate, large toaster oven, and utensils. I am am still putting finishing touches on it, but available for use. Pictures soon.

Spectacular southern views of mountains in Allegheny and Ashe county, North Carolina. There is no WiFi but good cell phone signal is available all over property including 4G. You will find plenty of restaurants and bars in Independence, VA and Sparta, NC but we have found that once you arrive you don't want to leave.

Beautiful meadows, forest, springs, creek and pond. Pet friendly. We love doggy visitors! Hike over the farm, anf large fenced meadows. Enjoy the fire pit. Have a really large group? Add Sunrise Cottage and Meadows, also on the farm. Or Middleside Farmhouse, likewise on the farm.
