This was a wonderful place to use as our home base during our visit to Powell River.

If we could give 10 stars, we would. Terry and Brian’s place was everything we dreamed of and more. They made us feel like family. The home was beautiful and cosy, the backyard was dreamy. We thought there would be nothing to do there, but there was plenty. They offered kayaks, use of hot tub and the whole outdoor area. It was a dream just sitting by the water and looking out at the eagles (lucky to have seen a double rainbow too!). Thank you for your warmth and hospitality, we loved every moment of our time here :)

What a great place to stay! Perfect for Courtenay and Comox and half an hour drive to the ski hill. Very comfortable and clean. Thanks for a great stay!

Katrin’s place is all that is described in the listing and more. Very cozy and comfortable apartment with an entire nook dedicated to hanging and drying out snow gear. Katrin went above and beyond with her communication. There is a bit of walking and figuring out where the apartment is located in the ski village but Katrin’s attention to detail made everything very easy. Further, I took away a number of ideas for how I would like to organize spaces in my home after staying. Great decorations and functionality. Mount Washington is also a true jem- everyone was friendly and helpful! I Highly recommend Katrin’s apartment and look forward to visiting again.

Ryan and Jake were very helpful, responsive hosts and Eureka was a stunning location to spend a week on Hornby Island. The gorgeous sunsets and tranquil ocean were a joy to watch from the expansive deck and hot tub. The cabin was well stocked and clean and we felt immediately comfortable and at home. It would be great to have access to a dryer in order to dry our bathing suits and beach towels/blankets when the weather isn't hot enough to do it naturally - but that would be our only critique. We hope to book it again next summer!

This place exceeded our expectations. The house was large enough for our two families to stay comfortably. The yard was beautiful & serene. Walking distance to the beach & Helliwell park which were both highlights of our vacation. Lots of baby gear if you need it. This was a bonus for us.

I had a wonderful stay at Brad’s place! It’s located far away from the noise, making it a very peaceful and quiet retreat. Brad was extremely friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service throughout my stay. I came alone for work, and the room was perfect for my needs. Although the washroom wasn’t attached to the room, it was still very convenient. If I were to visit with family, I would probably inquire about other room options. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I would definitely stay again!

We stayed a few days but could have easily spent a week at the Birdhouse. In a suite nestled among trees that were in bloom, we felt comfortable and cozy and provided for. The place was clean, quiet, well decorated, and comfortable, from the bedroom to the bathroom to the cute little sitting room. Thanks for the great stay, Wendy!

Diana was an excellent host. Her house is beautiful and peaceful. The room was larger than we expected and everything was clean. She gave us lots of recommendations as it was out first time on the island. The breakfast was great and she even gave us muffins to take with us. We really enjoyed our time here.
