This cottage was perfect for us - 2 couples with small children. Louise gave us loads of information before we arrived, and her husband greeted us shortly after we arrived. It was such an easy stay with small children, we had everything we needed, and the stair gate made life so easy! There were lots of lovely touches like providing snacks, coffee and jams. And Louise even provided some glasses for the solar eclipse!! The surroundings are really peaceful and the kids loved the 2 Shetland ponies in the field opposite. There are lots of options for walks from the cottage, or a short drive away. The Black Lion pub did a great roast dinner. I found there was so much thought put into the stay and Louise was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful place. Kept very clean and has everything you need, we visited Alton Towers as it’s extremely close. Wonderful curry place around the corner. Would definitely recommend.

Went to Alton towers for the weekend and stayed at the old workshop Great place to stay. 10/10 would stay again :)

Fantastic little place with modular features that utilised the space really well. Especially enjoyed the rooftop terrace. All in all, a really comfortable stay. Soozey/Jen communicated excellently throughout which made the experience all the better. Would highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Lavender cottage! It's in a lovely quiet location but only a short walk to shops and pubs. The cottage was well equipped and had everything we needed. We had a very comfortable stay! Thanks Ruth.

What a lovely little cottage, very clean and tidy and well stocked with everything you need in a home away from home. Little touches like the forget me not box and honesty box with holiday essentials should you forget anything (which we did!) was welcomed. Check in and out couldn’t have been easier and the shortbread biacuits and bottle of fizz was a nice touch Beautiful walks literally on the doorstep and easy access to the Tissington trail make this cottage a great place to stay in the Peaks.

This is our second time here and we have enjoyed every minute of it as much as the previous time!! We stayed here recently for a few days and it was a much needed break away. Eraine was once again a super responsive host!! The location of the cabin is so private and cozy and the surroundings are beautiful. Thank you for a lovely stay we will definitely return!!

What a wonderful cottage! From the delicious welcome treats to the luxurious bedding, everything about Mere View screams comfort. Immaculately presented, we were able to settle right in within moments. There’s everything you need for a relaxing break from coffee pods to beautifully scented hand washes and diffusers. It’s not every day you book another break away the same year while still staying in a holiday home but that’s exactly what we did plus I’m planning a solo break in between. A lovely cottage in a charming village. The driveway for parking is a real bonus. Well equipped kitchen (hob, cooker, microwave, large fridge/freezer); excellent shower and very comfortable bed. It's worth bringing some logs for the wood burner making for a cosy evening. Several pubs within easy walking distance with excellent beer and food. The local stores and very nice high class bakery and deli a short walk away. Many fabulous country walks immediately from the village and more a short drive away.
