I can't say enough good things about the Captain's Quarters and Henny as a host. This was our third Easter weekend in a row spent at CQ on Galiano, and we cherished every minute - even adding an extra night to our stay this year. It's an amazing, private spot to relax, embrace the peacefulness, the comforts (hot tub is my personal fave, and the new king sized bed afforded many extra hours of sleep), and the island mentality. Henny is an absolute gem, and was always quick to respond to any requests. Even when the island had a brief, 2-hour power outage, Henny provided us with extra lighting, and the assurance that should the power outage last longer, she would run the generator. Our dog Feivel also finally got on our level, and didn't even bark when Henny came by with complimentary greens and smoked salmon tails! We can't wait to be back.

We stayed at Cusheon Lake Resort while on Saltspring for work. Glen met us to make sure that we had our orientation as we checked in. We stayed in cabin 2 and it was stunning - a beautiful space, comfortable, peaceful and with a beautiful view of the lake. One of us stayed on the sofa bed which was great for our needs. Having a kitchen available to us was also a big benefit to us as we worked long hours. It was such a treat to come back to a hot tub & sauna after a long day’s work. We also made use of the paddle boards for an early morning paddle. We loved our stay here and look forward to our next!

This cottage was everything and more. It was perfect for a surprise birthday getaway for my best friend and I. We got to see Candy and Solei ( their horses ) everyday during our stay. Watching them was one of our favorite moments. Had the most peaceful time! It’s very private and blissful! Time really does move slow while you’re here and it was exactly what I was looking for. Japanese garden, putting green, disc golf and horseshoe pit was a bonus. Thank you for letting us use your bikes, it was quite the adventure. The night sky was nothing like I seen before so happy we got to see so many stars swinging on the hammock it was a dream. The cottage itself is just perfect! Pictures don’t do justice we will be definitely visit again. Thank you again Jacquie and her husband for the warm welcome

Really lovely place in Cowichan Valley. Jane was a lovely and kind host. The place was exactly as shown/described, with a well stocked kitchen and a comfortable bed. Would stay here again when we're back in Duncan!

Seven of us stayed a week and we didn't want to leave. We will definitely try to stay here again. The house was perfect on a quiet street steps away from the fantastic Cook Street Village. It was about a 20 min walk to downtown but the loveliest walk as we often went through the park seeing peacocks and deer. The beds were very comfortable and the first floor was such a wonderful space to hang out with lots of seating for all of us and we actually ended up cooking quite a bit because the kitchen was so well equipped. Drew was also the friendliest host we've ever had on an Airbnb as well. I highly recommend this house!

Our first visit to Vancouver Island and our family of four really enjoyed our stay at Tina’s Airbnb. Quick access to Sooke town centre and amenities. But also great location for exploring the Juan de Fuca trail system as well as East Sooke trails. Tina was a very responsive and gracious host! We will be back next spring for sure.

I don’t even know where to start, but I guess I’d have to start and end with the stunning views from every part of the house. I wanted to stay there almost every minute I didn’t wanna miss a minute of the sunsets or the sunrises or the boats or the otters or the seals or the Incredible skies or stars… Plenty of room for six or eight people, well stocked. There’s half a dozen seating areas all different size shapes of chairs and cushions, I didn’t get a chance to use the Jacuzzi and the spa wasn’t working while we were there, but everything was exactly as advertised. Or better. I can’t think of anything that would’ve made my stay more amazing. I can’t wait to go back and bring my family.

Sarah's place was just as described! It was very quiet, clean, and the view of the bay was lovely. There are good restaurants nearby and Sarah provided excellent recommendations. I would definitely stay here again.

This cabin was so dreamy! On our drive in, we spotted a beautiful gray fox and a few deer. The forest surrounding the cabin is just beautiful. The cabin had everything we needed. I thought I wouldn’t like to walk to the bath house, but honestly I thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s only a short walk, and it gives you multiple chances to spot wildlife. The bath house is clean and has everything you need. I especially enjoyed the French press coffee and slow mornings reading in the cabin

Cozy private space in a safe and nice neighbourhood, close to a trail to walk the dog. Stay can be a bit on the noisier side with the highway on the other side of the bushes but did not bother us too much.

We had an amazing stay at Scott’s cabin! The place is absolutely adorable—nestled in the woods with a peaceful pond right out our door, it was the perfect nature escape. We booked last minute, and Scott couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. The cabin is also dog-friendly, which was a huge plus for us. Everything was clean, cozy, and well thought out. We truly felt welcomed and comfortable throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place, and we would definitely stay again!

Beautiful Getaway! Our family of 5 (2 adults, 5-year-old, 1-year-old, small dog) spent American Thanksgiving week at Carley's place on Pender Island and had an amazing and relaxing week of family time. The house is even more unique (in the best possible way) than the pictures show, the views are amazing, and the kids spent days just exploring the space. We hiked each day, explored the island, and enjoyed the sunsets and fireplace. The hosts are communicative, and the place has all the amenities you could need. 10/10 would recommend and hope to come back again!

Peter's place was perfect for our three nights on Galiano with our dogs. The house was comfortable and the view was exceptional! We had perfect weather to enjoy the patio and veranda, and it was a great base from which to explore the island. The location on Montague Harbour provided ready access to the Provincial park and we also travelled to several other locations for hikes and beach adventures. Larry welcomed us when we arrived and was available to answer questions as needed. We will definitely stay here again on future trips to Galiano.

We always enjoy staying at Shannon's as her place feels like home to us. Shannon is friendly, prompt in her communication and her place is supplied with everything for a comfortable family stay. We always look forward to her generous and thoughtful breakfast basket! The short walk to the beach is a special part of our vacation too. Thank you, Shannon, for being a valued host.

The location of this rental was even more beautiful in person, than in the photos. On a 25 acre farm, it had water and mountain views and was peaceful and relaxing, while at the same time only a short drive from amenities (restaurant, coffee shop, grocery). The rental was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Trish and her husband were very friendly and responsive to our needs. Our dog also thoroughly enjoyed her visit, and especially the two resident Goldens! It's a great place to relax and disconnect, we used the wood fireplace which was real nice touch. Highly recommend we would definitely return.

We love staying here! It’s peaceful and relaxing, right off the Galloping Goose for a quick ride or walk and the kids love being able to have a campfire. The place is clean, has everything you need and all the kitchen tools to cook a great meal. Laura is always quick to respond, and my son loved checking out the fire truck!

Amazing hosts! Very responsive! Very friendly. We even made sure to give them some of our Rasta pasta! Beautiful home and can’t wait to come back.

This place was perfect for our family of four. we easily felt comfortable and at home. Clean and well maintained. Easy to get to. check-in and check out were easy. Felt very secure. The location is wonderful, incredibly walkable. Close to everything. Would not hesitate to stay again!

Billie’s place was the perfect spot for a trip to Salt Spring Island. Really appreciated the welcome, orientation of the suite and local recommendations. I’d love to stay again and will definitely recommend!

It’s a beautiful place with an incredible view . Paul is straightforward and proactive. It’s a good price compared to Poet’s Cover and right next to the ferry terminal. If you come here I hope the following tips help so you can prepare accordingly: 1. There are some flies and ants inside the cabin. 2. There are absolutely no food items here so bring it ALL down to salt and pepper to coffee to cooking oil to shampoo 3. It’s a tight layout I would say it could fit 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children comfortably. 4. The pool is seasonal- it’s not open all year round 5. The hot water tank is on its way out or it’s small. It didn’t bother us as it was just my husband and I . It would be an issue for those more than 2 who want to take a bath or shower back to back.

We had an amazing stay at Gramma Rikki’s beautiful home! It was perfect for our group of two families (4 adults + 3 young kids). The house was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed—from a well-equipped kitchen and cozy bedrooms to toys, books, and kid-friendly touches throughout. The huge yard, hot tub, and fresh-water pond were big hits, and the peaceful setting made it easy to relax. Gramma Rikki was incredibly warm and welcoming - an outstanding host. We’d absolutely come back again!

We had a wonderful stay. Carlene was easy and quick to communicate such, the cottage had everything we needed, and we loved sitting on the deck enjoying the view. The resort the cottage is part of was helpful since we had our 10-year-old with us. The pool is a big reason we booked here, and the lawn games were an extra bonus we hadn’t expected. We even got to see an otter below the marina dock on our first day - a perfect sighting in Otter Bay!

Agata’s place was so beautiful, in a great location and very comfortable to stay in! There was lots to do around the area and it felt very safe. It was very easy to check in, even when going with a vehicle and the instructions were super easy to follow. Agata also responded quickly to messages and made communication stress-free. Super convenient and comfortable. Enjoyed gas fireplace, pool table and comfortable beds. Host was extremely responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay again.
