Beautifully converted using natural building materials, the space is light, peaceful and open, heated with a cosy wood burner. The interior is handmade, restored or salvaged by us. We provide sourdough, homemade jam, a homemade tipple & a few staples on arrival. A rural retreat right in the heart of vibrant West Cork.

The Still Retreat

The Still Retreat is a private, self-contained apartment attached to our family home, located just 10 minutes from Killarney town in the heart of Muckross. The “retreat” is equipped with a sauna, ice bath, outdoor shower and fire pit overlooking Mangerton Mountain. Perfect for hikers, outdoor enthusiasts or individuals just looking to relax and escape to the countryside. Trag Retreat is a lovely self catering holiday cottage is completely private with a private Hot Tub in the rear garden which has sea views. The large patio and the elevated hot tub maximise the stunning views. A complete renovation of the cottage was undertaken to the highest of specifications while still retaining the original character of the premises.
