Thomas and Anna are are superb hosts. I've been lucky enough to stay with them on a couple occasions. They were helpful in securing my cart rental as well as an onsite massage on their dock, which was sooo nice. The grounds are well cared for, and the room is everything you need, nothing you don't. Also, try their quesadilla, its wonderful!

Aileen’s place was great! The place was spacious and clean with clean linens. The rooftop pool was awesome and had pool toys and floats for adults and kids. The best deal was definitely Aileen and what they provided. They had a person for booking excursions on site that came to us in the unit. We booked a private boat tour through them. They also have their own golf carts and parking so we used them the entire time. We were given recommendations for food, boutiques everything we asked was met to highest expectations. We debated between resort and Aileen’s place and realize most beaches you can’t swim right into even the resorts are more docks so we chose to be in the town with the locals and eating what the locals eat and Aileen’s spot was perfect for that. And they know all the spots to go and were so friendly. We stayed with 2 kids and husband and my kids were welcomed and entertained bc they have several turtles too. All in all I highly recommend staying here!

Great place to stay with family with kids for a vacation to Belize. The staff were super helpful in booking anything we needed, answering questions. The pool club near by is a great place to hang out, but it is pricey compared to other places on the island. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Abner was our driver and he was so nice with us. Our family enjoyed the house.

We were very happy with the fast and reliable service from all involved. Especially when we forgot our passports and had to call at 1 in the morning to figure out how to get back to the house and get them. Instead of having to do that myself Franz was up and to the house to find them . He also delivered them to us right then. Being a distance from the airport I was so appreciative! It was not convenient for him to deliver them at that time of day let alone willing to do the task without any resistance and a smile. Absolutely Amazing! He also was there for us right away for any other requests before that. We enjoyed the place and couldn't have asked for better service. Thank you so much! It was enlightening to see living off grid was not an inconvenience. I am looking into solar on a project myself so to actually use it real time for a couple weeks was a good experience. Thank you very much!

It was slightly tricky to find because streets don't seem to be marked but as soon as we realized to turn into the narrow alley at the Coco Loco's sign, it was all good. The place is fabulous! The kids loved the 2nd story loft and the two adult couples loved the large, air conditioned bedrooms. But the standout was the kitchen -- it had every appliance you could possibly need and an abundance of everything. Beach towels and other gear was provided. In short, everything was thought of and taken care of. Also having a lock box for the key was great. Since we were a group of 6, that meant that we could split into smaller groups for outings and not have to worry about who had the key. We would 100% stay here again!

We let Nathan know when we were in a taxi headed to the property- he was there to meet us and let us in. The cottage is right on the waterfront promenade/beach. Great food and coffee right out the front door. Dive shops and water excursion docks all along the beach where the cottage is. Several grocery stores all within a 5 minute walk. Tons of restaurant options. We thought we would need to rent a golf cart for our stay to get around, but the location of the cottage was such that we didn't need one. The front of the cottage is gated in with a covered patio- a great place to sit and watch the ocean and goings-on. Overall we really enjoyed our time there.

We were 100% satisfied with our stay at Residences at Barrier Reef. The condo was more than we could have expected. The view from our very large balcony was stunning. The Condo was Very clean and very comfortable. The pools were great and the beach/pier were added bonuses. There were outdoor games for all to enjoy as well. The permanent residences that we met were super friendly and always willing to share their recommendations and experiences. We found the location to be perfect. Great restaurants 10 minutes away, San Pedro 20 minutes, Secret Beach 20 minutes, UpNorth also about 20 minutes. So centrally located that we were able to experience so many areas of Ambergris Caye. We can not wait to come back and possibly even call Residences of Barrier Reef “Home” one day.

Cute, clean place with great views and convenient location. The space was clean and equipped with the necessities + more. Raphael and Chica were amazing and made us feel right at home! Would definitely stay again.
