Chalets in Costa Rica

This place was great. It was very private and secluded. It had a wonderful view of the bay that leads into the Pacific Ocean. Which is great for sunsets. Monteverde and Santa Elena are very nearby by car, or a nice walk away. there are small towns, but have everything you would need including coffee, shops, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. I enjoyed the outdoor charcoal barbecue to prepare dinner. The kitchen was well equipped. The rooms were clean, large, and very comfortable. There was plenty of family space to gather and dine play games, etc. I would recommend a 4 x 4 vehicle to get up the road. The host is right next-door, and very responsive if you need anything, and offers breakfast for purchase if you would like. We had a lovely stay going into Easter weekend and would recommend this too any traveler. We were with grandma and our seven-year-old and found it very accommodating to our needs. Buenas!

Perfect place for mu family to stay while in Monteverde. Close enough to everything but peaceful and far enough from the busy part. We all had a great time. The host was very responsive and proactive in giving us choices and problem solving when the food delivery was unavailable. We qill definitely recommend to anyone and come back in the future!

My husband and I stayed at Amalu for three nights in mid-February 2025. We stayed in Glass Cabin Number one, and the view was west-facing and stunning. You had views all the way to the Pacific Ocean and a perfect view of sunset every night. You're so high up that you can feel the winds blowing in the day and through the night, but it only adds to the mountaintop experience as you're warm and snug in your perfectly appointed glass house. The units have a kitchenette and come stocked with perfect food essentials provided by the host. There are spa waffle robes and slippers and a telescope for stargazing and bird watching. The hot tub outside on the deck is amazing for relaxing at night. The staff were extremely friendly and welcomed us upon arrival. If we needed anything at all, it was just a message away.

La estadía fue de 2 noches y 3 días , el lugar es precioso y la vista increíble. Nos ayudaron con la leña para la fogata, nos llevaron y recogieron en carro pues llevábamos muchas cosas, nos atendieron muy bien! El lugar es muy acogedor, silencioso y espacioso. El área de la piscina y alrededores es bonito y tranquilo, está muy limpio y cuidado. Cuenta con buen en equipamiento en la cocina y en general bien equipada toda la casa, las personas que cuidan están muy presentes. La calle es de lastre y tiene huecos grandes que pueden golpear un carro muy bajo, yo tengo un sedan y si pude ingresar sin problema. El único punto de mejora es que los cuartos son muy calientes.

Great find in Cahuita. We are a family of four and this place was huge with 3 big bedrooms + 3 full baths & a large living/dining room & kitchen. Large outdoor area to boot! Yard is filled with flowering shrubs & tall trees providing much needed shade from the powerful Costa Rican rays. The hot tub is more of a cool tub (approx 88 degrees) but that is just what we needed after spending hours in ocean surf getting baked by the sun. The outdoor shower is a nice touch for a quick cool down. Lots of animals to see in the yard too of which the monkeys & geckos were the most fascinating to me & our kids. Approx 8 min walk to entrance to Cahuita Nat’l Park. 10 min walk to edge of town. Tons of different beaches to choose from! Shelley is uber accommodating with any thing that needs attention at the house. Overall a great spot for a chill time in Cahuita. Live slow & Pura Vida!

Echtes Dschungel Feeling - wildromantisch - Traumhafte Aussicht aufs Meer- im rustikalem Ambiente- tosende Wellen am Strand- riesiger Garten mit Tischtennis, Pool und vielen Sitz- Liege- und Hängematten zum Chillen - Tierbeobachtungen (Nasenbär, Capewara, Leguane etc…) mehr Costa Rica geht nicht 🤩💯🇨🇷 wie in einem Märchen - unwirklich schön - besonders schön war der Empfang von Ximena, die uns viele Tips für die Gegend und Aktivitäten gegeben hat- Sehnsuchtsort 🌴🏝️

While I only stayed one night, I wish I could’ve stayed longer. The home exceeded my expectations. The location is wonderful and the home was very modern and the jacuzzi was a great addition. They really did well with the place! I plan to visit again in the near future and intend to rent the home again if given the opportunity.

Le logement de Raquel n’était qu’une étape après avoir atterri à san José, mais quel bonheur de se réveiller dans ce cadre: cette vue, cette nature!! Raquel a été très réactive, et nous la recommandons vivement !! Dommage que nous n’ayons pas pu rester plus longtemps
