We loved, Loved, LOVED the cottage! So peaceful and serene, with beautiful views... and lots to look at inside too! Such fascinating knickknacks everywhere. Would love to hear some of the stories behind them. Enjoyed ourselves so much, we are definitely considering coming back!

I was very impressed with the place by the lake very nice Sadie is a great person and had the opportunity to meet her at the venue that my son was having his wedding reception. We are already planning our next visit. Also the Hot Tub was ready to go when we got there Thanks John

We really enjoyed staying here! We loved the open space and the comfortable couch and chairs which was great for hanging out and watching movies. There were towels provided for the hot tub and that was very convenient. The hot tub was super clean and in a very private area. We loved having the whole outdoor area to ourselves! The host provided muffins, which was such a nice treat. The kitchen was set up nicely and made it easy to cook several meals there. We loved the log cabin feel! Everything was just lovely for our cousin's weekend, and we would definitely stay again! Thanks so much!

Our stay here was amazing! Jill was very responsive and friendly, even reached out afterwards to check in to make sure everything went well. The bar/restaurant down the road was amazing too. We visited willow river state park and loved how close it was to the cabin. The bed was also super comfy! We appreciated the snacks/pantry goods that were included as well. Thanks for the great stay!

Our family had a mini getaway and it was the perfect spot! The sauna and hot tub were incredible! The kids LOVED the theater room. Such a great place for families. Thank you for being a great host!

We were four families who stayed here for a weekend in April, and the home was perfect for our group. It was spacious enough for all of us to move around comfortably, gather for meals, and spend quality time together. From games and books to spices you might have left behind, the hosts have truly anticipated guests’ needs. The views from this house are absolutely stunning. We saw plenty of wildlife, including deer, wild turkeys, and eagles, which added to the peaceful, natural setting. The dog run area was another great feature— Our favorite spot was the screened-in porch. One thing to note for those with mobility concerns: the walk from the car to the house is a bit of a trek. The hosts provide carts to help transport your things, but if you’re not able to carry items or have people to help, it’s something to keep in mind. Overall, we loved our stay here and we will definitely be back.

Overall experience was great! Host was very hospitable and flexible. Location is absolutely amazing! Only complaint was with the shower water - it had a very bad smell (not sure why). Outside of that, absolutely great location.

It was a quiet and quick getaway for my friend and I along with our dog. The owner was responsive to all our needs. My only complaint would be spiders or flies, but it’s part of being out with nature (and i am terrified of spiders).

This was a wonderful stay! We booked a bit last minute and they were so great with communication and accommodating us. I brought my frenchie and they were so welcoming, which was wonderful! Highly recommend!

Can’t recommend this cabin highly enough. The location is totally calm, quiet, and peaceful while being only five minutes away from great shopping and the interstate highway. The cabin itself is absolutely gorgeous, well-appointed, and in great shape — even better than the photos. And our hosts were very friendly and welcoming — very responsive to our questions and even left a loaf of homemade banana bread on the kitchen counter for us when we arrived. Our family had a wonderful time and will be back!

We had a great week! The main level was listed as "shared," but no one else was ever there when we were. There were 2 wonderful patios, 1 right off the master bedroom. It was less then a block to Bald Eagle Lake with a small beach. Beds were very comfortable. We would love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin is right on the water. The views from the front deck and the living room were beautiful! There was plenty of room for our family. We loved watching the orioles. We would love to return.

Beautiful place, very clean and comfortable.

I was looking for a peaceful weekend to relax in nature and this place delivered. Very clean, comfy bed, great spot for walking, great bonfire pit with beautiful stargazing. I only smelled gas when I first came in the door at the bottom of the stairs; upstairs there was no smell and plenty of candles around if your nose is sensitive. I will definitely be back!

AMAZING cabin. We had a family get away for a couple nights and didn’t want to leave! Great running trails, fishing, comfortable and beautiful home. The fall colors were breathtaking. Tricia was a great host! We really hope that we can come back soon!

Myself, my mother and my three children stayed for 6 nights at Sally’s place. We loved our stay. We were a short drive to Nickelodeon Universe, but most importantly the lake views were just as wonderful as I had imagined. We ate breakfast every morning on the patio overlooking the lake. My children loved swimming in the lake off the little sandy beach area. Sally took my three children for a ride in the paddle boat and they loved it. My children loved talking with Sally. Don’t miss out on the relaxing scenery.

The River Cabin is a clean, tastefully decorated, cozy cabin in beautiful surroundings. Emily's check in instructions were clear and easy, and she was super responsive about a question I had, solving the issue quickly. I especially enjoyed all the windows, river view, walking trails, and the fireplace. I would definitely stay again!

It was a beautiful little location, right on the apple river! Honestly it was more than we were expecting, it was perfectly located, only 20 minutes from willow river and 15 minutes from stillwater! A beautiful little hidden gem without being too far!
