Croob View Black Hut

Enjoy the setting of this romantic spot on a working sheep and cattle farm in the Dromara Hills, nestled in nature. Between Castlewellan and Dromara, 15min drive to Newcastle, 25min from Belfast. A couples retreat with a new electric hot tub in the middle of a mountain, sheep as the only possible disturbance. Guests are welcome to meet and greet our animals at the gate up to the hut. Honey the Falabella horse, 5 pygmy goat and our Free range hens, who give our guests eggs in our welcome pack.

The old Loft

The old Loft is a one bedroom apartment that would sleep a family of 4/5. It is situated on a working farm where you can enjoy seeing the sheep, lambs and Clydesdale horses. We are less than a 5 minute drive to the beautiful beaches and golf courses that surround us. A perfect get away for walkers, surfers, golfers or if whiskey is your thing there are 3 distilleries to explore! Converted stone barn adjacent to farmhouse in lovely countryside close to Strangford Lough, yet only 30 minutes drive from Belfast. Self-catering, open plan accommodation. On the ground floor, a sitting/dining area and kitchen. On the upper floor a sleeping area with double bed , and shower room. There is also a sofa bed on the ground floor. Our 13 acre smallholding is a wildlife friendly oasis and guests are welcome to relax in the large garden or walk around the woodland and meadows.

Our place is aTourist Board accredited farmhouse, close to the Dromara Hills, Slieve Croob Scenic Loop, Newcastle, Castlewellan Forest Park, Mourne Mountains, Hillsborough. The accommodation is 2 stories, 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom upstairs (2 double and a twin bedroom). Downstairs is kitchen/ living room, separate sitting room and toilet/ shower room. Spacious yard is great for parking. We welcome couples, business travellers, families, pets, golfers, film crews, walkers and cyclists

In the heart of the North of Ireland we are 40 min from Giants Causeway Belfast Derry and Donegal.Perfect central location for families who prefer their own space. Seamus Heaney Homeplace and Ballyscullion park wedding venue are a few minutes away.Irelands oldest thatched pub The Crosskeys Inn 1654, famous for trad music. Game of Thrones locations are close by. Not suitable for party animals so don't ask!
