Easiest way to put it, it's a home away from home. Host is amazing and very responsive. Definitely coming back again!

Amazing host and amazing property!

Beautiful place so relaxing just what we needed as a family to regroup and recharge our batteries. Very well equipped with all the essentials made use of the washing machine and airer and ironing board and iron. Great wfi. Hot tub was lovely and the veiws from it.

We had a lovely time at Murton Farm. There were loads of games for the kids to play in the garden and they enjoyed exploring the huge house. Bedrooms were nice and big. There were plenty of spaces for everyone to spread out, but equally the living spaces were big enough with enough seating for everyone to gather at once and socialise. The hot-tub was a welcome treat after days out with the kids!

We wanted a location close to 1. Jubilee parkrun & 2. Durham- this led us to the accommodation we booked for the Easter weekend A bonus was the hot tub, log burner & compact accommodation for 3 nights, its next door to the pub but we heard nothing on an evening. We walked into Spennymoor (2 miles) a small road section, the rest all path/taxi back - lovely cafe with delicious food on the high steet Short drive to Durham Ticked all our boxes Highly recommended

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Immaculate throughout and the views from the lodge was amazing. Brilliant location. It had everything you needed and more! The hot tub was a lovely touch. Visited the ice cream parlour just around the corner had lovely flavours to choose from looking over the ruins. Had a trip into Pooley bridge and went on the steamboat would definatly recommend not too long of a journey from the lodge. Would definatly be coming back with the children next time so that can experience the wonderful place! Thank you again!

We had the best time in Lanchester! Such a beautiful home and in the best location. We absolutely loved the hot tub and the games room which we definitely made the most of! If we come back to lanchester we will most definitely be staying here again!

Lovely nights stay, the lodge was spotless clean and had everything we needed. Slippers, robes and the goodies left were a wonderful bonus. Will definitely be back!

This place really took us by surprise. We drove 5.5 hours each way, just to visit and our biggest regret was not booking longer! Worth every bit of the money and drive. The place was private and peaceful. Very safe and secure and very quiet so you can really enjoy yourself. Really feels like you have the whole place and surrounding areas to yourself! Utensils and appliances wise you could see Jane has real care and attention to detail, everything you could need or think of was provided. And that too of high quality not just your budget items. The bbq was a proper bbq which was a joy to use. The hot tub come with lighting and jets. Even the pots and pans were tefal! A lot of time and money has gone into it all. Garden was well lit also for those late evenings. Was lovely to meet Ben also. So much more to say but we won’t ruin all the delightful surprises! Very happy with the stay and we will be back for sure. Thank you! And see you next time.

Fantastic accommodation in a beautiful part of the country. The cabin had everything we needed and was spotless clean. The hot tub was great and the option to add a sauna session is highly recommended, the views are amazing! The stay is perfect for relaxation. Anthony was very responsive and gave us some nice tips for local outings through their online guide. He also showed us how to operate the woodfire hot tub with the provided logs, which was very helpful. The only issue we had was how close the cabins were to each other. Our "neighbours" didn't abide by the rule of no outside music and played rave songs on loud, spoiling the advertised tranquility a bit but this was not the host's fault. We would definitely come again but will try to book a quieter time of the year or ask for a cabin at the very end of the site.

We had the loveliest stay for my partners birthday. Angus was there right when we arrived to check us in and show us around and the cabin was so thoughtfully decorated and spotlessly clean! His grounds are absolutely beautiful and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful stay! Thanks so much Angus and family☺️

Thank you both for a tranquil and idyllic weekend, we loved our stay in Ash. The perfect quiet spot, great for birdwatching and star gazing. The tub was an amazing experience and we will certainly be back! The highlight of our weekend was exploring the big back garden and tasting the amazing cheese we bought from Jonathan at the farmers market.

Amazing staff. Can’t fault the place. Everything you needed. I’m 29 weeks pregnant loved the massage from Jill! Everyone here are so down to earth. Beautiful and clean. Super comfy bed.
