Bed & breakfasts in County Fermanagh

This was my second time getting to stay at this lovely estate, and it was even more of a lovely time than the last. I got to bring my partner along for this trip, and she was just as captivated by the home and the family as I was. There are countless portraits and old photographs on the walls telling the stories of who has lived in and around Annaghmore. Durcan and Nicola are fantastic hosts and consistently checked in on us to make sure we were content each day. The wood oven in their sun room was easy to use and kept us very warm. The library is impeccable, so many interesting books from numerous periods. Their five pups also completely steal the show, with how well they behave and how eager they are to please. Teeps in particular loves to present you with stones, sticks, or leaves from around Annaghmore, and their tails are always wagging faster than you can imagine. They also recently got a new bed for the guest room, and it was SO comfortable. A great stay, all around!

This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. Very well placed in a lovely little village with all the amenities you need close by. The breakfasts were fantastic and the hostess Jules was very kind and helpful. The house itself is a real joy to stay in. In fact - I would advise people who even have no need to get accommodation to go and stay at least one night just for the experience. The furnishings and decor are incredible and one of a kind unique. It is like staying in a little piece of Georgian history. Imagine a period drama or something like Mrs Marples - Murder on the Orient express. It is like the set of one of those. Just fantastic.

What a fantastic find …..host spot on helpful and puts herself out for you breakfast was a huge choice of fruit cereal toast croissants, eggs, fresh orange, fresh coffee tea really enjoyed last day would definitely definitely stop again

Eileen was an amazing host and very accommodating even dropping us off into town. Rooms we're great, clean and spacious enough. The breakfast was also top quality!

Bernadette was incredible, very friendly and nice, and her house… no words to describe it. It was like one of them hoses you only see in tv, incredible. And with awesome views to the garden with a river.

Tonya is a lovely person, always trying to help and making your life easier. I recommend this accommodation if you want to be in a central and well connected place.

Louise was a very sweet host, gave directions to the place and also a "housetour". The breakfast included in the stay was comprehensive and yummy, we were definately not left hungry! She also would've let us extend our check-out time if we would've needed to. Room was clean, nothing to really point out :).

I had a great stay, and nothing was too much trouble! I was in the area for work, and they were so accommodating to all of my needs through my stay. The breakfast was great, and the room was spotless! A real gem that I would highly recommend! Thank you so much!

I highly recommend this place!! Eimear was a very friendly & kind host! She was very accommodating as we arrived late, due to some travel complications we had before arriving there. She stayed up late, & kindly greeted us & showed us to our room when we arrived. Her home was lovely! Out in the beautiful countryside, very peaceful & safe. The rooms we used were very clean, tastefully decorated, & comfortable. She had a delicious Irish breakfast in the dining room for us of hot teas, a variety of breads & jams, yogurt, granola, milk & juice. She had a printed up paper of things to do in the area, complete with pubs & restaurants. We went to 2 of the locations... the Tullan Strand beach & the waterfalls.. we enjoyed both of them! She also has the most adorable little dog over in her part of the house.. which we loved!

We had a lovely stay at Mary’s house looking out on the fields surrounding her home. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, and Mary was an excellent host. She shared great recommendations of the local area and prepared a tasty breakfast the next morning before we left. We will absolutely be staying at Mary’s again!

Excellent accommodations! The room was ready and we were able to check in early. The staff were friendly and attentive. Full Irish Breakfast was delicious. Rooms were cleaned daily. Look forward to booking a room again next visit!

Kathleen is such a great host. She was so friendly and a great source of knowledge for the area. Breakfast was delicious. Great place for golfers to stay. Bed are comfortable and room was spotless. Would definitely go back.

Kathleen and chad were great hosts and helped us with our requirements for visiting this part of beautiful Donegal. We will definitely stay again when we return to the area.

If you need a place to stay in this area of N.Ireland I highly recommend staying at Shanvey house. We were attending a wedding whilst also celebration a milestone birthday within the family and Jill went above and beyond in helping make both occasions feel really special. From allowing us to visit before we stayed, to organising rooms, to making suggestions of local restaurants to finally organising a Birthday BBQ (food was absolutely beautiful) to coordinating delivery of birthday decorations. Jill helped us make sure all elements where planned and organised. This meant that our stay was super enjoyable knowing all was in hand. The house is beautiful and the rooms are impressively dress with stunning views. We felt very much at home with a delicious choice of breakfasts each morning. Jill looks after us incredibly well whilst also giving us space to celebrate as a family together (which we don't get to do that often) No request was too small for Jill! Highly recommend!

Geraldine bietet ein tolles Frühstück mit großer Auswahl an. Die Zimmer sind groß, gut ausgestattet und werden täglich gereinigt. Die Umgebung hat viel zu bieten und Geraldine ist gerne bereit, Ausflugstipps zu geben. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt.

Das Zimmer ist geräumig, größer als erwartet, Naesa ist gut erreichbar. Das Haus befindet sich fußläufig 15 Minuten zum Zentrum, in sehr ruhiger Gegend mit Parkgelegenheit vor dem Haus.

Bei Geraldine fand ich die nötige Entspannung nach den Konzerten des Rory Gallagher Festivals in Ballyshannon.

Nice room in a lovely home. Host was extremely helpful. It is as described. Outlook in back yard had incredible views. The town was really great with shops, bars, and restaurants. With good weather, it is walkable, but about a mile.

This was a lovely place to stay. Oodles of charm. Very close to Drumcliff church, short drive to Glencar waterfall, amazing views of the Benbulben mountains. Would highly recommend. Geraldine was very friendly and responsive.
