The apartment is incredible, with spectacular views, very spacious, and super comfortable. Our stay in the village was magnificent. The owner is super friendly and approachable; she provided us with everything we needed to make our stay perfect. Highly recommended.

Great location, not too far from the centre. It was close enough for us to stroll into the centre for a couple of drinks and walked back. Lovely place, very clean and comfortable. All the little extras were a nice surprise too, thank you!

We had a great time in the apartment. Loretto and her son Adrian have been amazing hosts. The Apartment is clean and it had all we needed. The distance to Athlone is just 5-10 minutes. Our dog loved the big garden we had for us.

The apartment was very spacious, clean and modern. It suited our needs extremely well for a lovely weekend trip to Carrick on Shannon and the surrounding area. Many thanks to Thomas

Amazing place . Highly recommended. The location and views are awesome. So peaceful and the stars at night were unbelievable. Two horses, with week old fowls, in the field opposite, were entertainment in themselves. The apartment is a home away from home , with beautiful artistic touches. The daisy lampshade and the branch with birds is so unique, ( I have one in my home of my design, wonderful that we are like minded) Thank you Leslie and Gerry. From Fionnuala and Danny

Great place to stay at the centre of town. Excellent facilities. Since I had not been there in decades, I had missed the memo that Carrick on Shannon is now Ireland's stag and hen party capital on a Saturday night. So the town is mighty lively and noisy. Anyway - a great well organised place to stay.

The location is great it’s right beside restaurants and bars, everything is within walkable distance. The airbnb was exactly as described and Fiona was very helpful and responsive and she even provided a list of local things to do. Highly recommend!

Fiona was a very responsive host and very quick to answer any queries. The apartment was amazing with stunning views out over the water. Was so well equipped with everything you would need for a stay. Very peaceful location yet close to carrick on shannon. So much to do in the area too. highly recommend for a stay

We were in Knockvicar to research our family roots so Anne's place was perfect because we could access all the local graveyards/Leitrim Heritage Centre, Ballinamore, Drumshabo music festival etc. Anne was super-helpful but also respected our privacy. She was there if needed. Loved her spacious kitchen, comfortable beds, extras left in the fridge for us on a very late arrival from Cork, esp milk and tea. Plenty of supplies in the bathroom and the place was spotless. We had two very peaceful/quiet nights of sleep and really enjoyed our stay in Knockvicar. Thank u Anne

What a find. this apartment is very central and you can walk everywhere in the town from it. the apartment is really big and well laid out. everything was spotless. there were lots of nice touches like lots of cold bottled water in the fridge, some snacks on the counter, and nice furnishings. we were a big group but it was a great size for the 7 of us. I highly recommend this place and I'd love to come back again.

I had an amazing stay at this place. The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect for us. What really stood out, though, was the host. They were incredibly welcoming and responsive, always quick to answer any questions and offer helpful recommendations for restaurants and activities nearby. It’s clear they genuinely care about their guests’ comfort and experience. I highly recommend this place and would definitely go back for a stay again! Thanks for being such a wonderful host!

We had a wonderful 2-night stay – it was truly a welcoming experience! The location of the house is ideal for visiting all the main attractions in Sligo and is very well connected to the city. Anne was incredibly responsive and extremely helpful throughout our stay – she helped us a lot in exploring Sligo and making the most of our trip. What made the stay even more special was the warm hospitality from the hosts, along with the lovely company of Will (dog) and Lexie (Cat). We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Ciaran was a fantastic host, always contactable and left straightforward and easy instruction for to gain entry. The apartment is very comfortable and spacious. Was within walking distance of the town and close to lots of amenities. Would definitely stay again and would have no issue recommending to others
