The Granary - ideal tranquil getaway

Formerly part of the dairy farm in the grounds of Annestown house, this is one of four apartments in a very unique location,. It has no ocean views but offers complete privacy in its own walled patio garden, with direct access to the cliffs and Annestown beach. In a tranquil and secluded setting close to the buzz of Waterford, you can be spoilt by the best of both worlds – whether it’s surfing, hiking, sight-seeing, cycling the nearby Greenway, the Anne Valley Walk, or just enjoying the views.

Idyllic, remote setting - 10 mins drive to Ardmore, 15 to Youghal. Recent high end renovation and extension. We have young kids so the house is set up to be totally family friendly with everything for families and child safety. Free street parking. Please note: due to the elevation there is a steep walk up the lane and a further 33 steps. Not suitable for anyone with mobility problems. Cosy chalet just a 20 minutes walk to the ocean. Beautiful sea views, facing the Metal Man. The Chalet is on our property right next to our house and has a large driveway to park and an EV charger. Newtown & Guillamene swimming coves nearby. 5mins drive to Tramore town that has long been associated with Irish tourism and offers a traditional seaside experience. The beach front features a long promenade and an amusement park in the summer.

Come and stay in our beautiful little cottage just off the main N25, 5 minutes from Youghal town and 20 minutes from Dungarvan and the wonderful greenway, 15 minutes from Ardmore. Cork 40 minutes. Ideal location for a summer break with a choice of local beaches Ardmore, Whiting Bay and Youghal. Local town Youghal has many take aways that delivery and also has a wonderful choice of beautiful restaurants.
