Really enjoyed our stay here, remote place and a lot of privacy. Cabin was very nicely decorated, really loved the Easter theme. Host was lovely and really made sure we knew what to do and where to go

Victoria’s cottage was a beautiful escape from normal city life. My partner and our dog enjoyed our stay immensely over the early May bank holiday weekend. Victoria is a lovely host and very friendly, she gave us some recommendations for local walks we could take with our dog. This home was one of the best stocked AirBnBs I’ve ever stayed in. The aga oven kept the whole place a lovely temperature even despite the warm weather. I would love to return again for a longer stay.

What a treasure this place is. It's not just beautiful, peaceful and extremely homely - it's loved, full of stories and life. Shane is a perfect host - kind, responsive and dedicated to providing a lovely space. Even better is that he built it himself - so every little part has a purpose and a story. He knows each tree in the garden. There are peacocks, hares, deer and birdsong. Some places are meant to make people smile :-)

A wonderful spacious place, full of light and very comfortable, we had a small family gathering and it was perfect, thoroughly recomended.

Felicity was great from the start! Very helpful with information about the cottage. The cottage was perfect and peaceful, amazing place to relax and unwind after a full day with 4 children at alton towers! Everything was clean. Couldnt have asked for a better place to stay :), will definitely look at making this our place to stay when we do our trips to Alton :)

The cottage was exactly what we wanted for our 2 night stay. Handy for the Theatre on the steps. Short walk to the High town and the cliff railway.

Beautiful, homely house. Very clean and tidy. Two shops, pub, cafe, chip shop and takeaways within walking distance. Perfect location for Alton Towers and so many walking routes. There really is so much to do and see in this beautiful part of the world. We particularly liked being walking distance to the JCB lake, it is absolutely beautiful - I’ve never seen so many different breeds of ducks and geese! I would highly recommend Amy and Christian’s place.

Clear and detailed instructions before arrival. Private and peaceful hot tub with a nice view. Cosy hut with a comfy bed, would highly recommend!

Ally & Simon are incredibly great & helpful hosts. Their accommodation is absolutely spot on, clean & modern. Beautiful garden and the whole house. Definitely recommend staying there, very close to the town centre, great location. Parking spot in front of the house. We will be definitely coming back. Thank you for having us & the support on marathon. Definitely people that they care about their guests & their place.
