I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible Airbnb, and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations. We had a wonderful stay! The property was peaceful and private with a beautiful view right next to the canal. My kids especially had a blast fishing off the dock — it quickly became their favorite part of the trip. The setting was perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. I had a wonderful stay in your cabin! The place was exactly as described-cozy, clean, and well-stocked with everything I needed. The peaceful surroundings made for a perfect getaway, and the scenic (deer, ducks, geese and the raccoon in the wood line and near the pond) view was a huge bonus. The host was responsive, friendly, and made check-in super easy. I'd definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking to unwind and enjoy some quiet time!!

My husband, pup, and I traveled to Jacksonville, NC to visit our Marine, his wife, and their new baby. The home was beautiful, clean, well stocked and very comfortable. The expansive outdoor area made it feel as though you were in the middle of nowhere, yet in reality you are close to everything (restaurants, grocery, gas, etc...). The huge walk in shower has made me rethink my own bathroom, as I would love to have something similar in my home. Cathy, the host, was always available and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. If available, we will definitely stay here again next time we travel to the Jacksonville area.

Fantastic place, really feels like a home and not a generic rental place. The kitchen is stocked with every appliance you could ever think of. The train running out front is great for kids (runs daytime on weekdays only). Beds are massive and comfortable, the house is well insulated and fairly soundproofed, and the side porch is great for coffee and people watching. Location is great, right on the edge of all the restaurants and bars with an open grassy area on one side and quiet neighbor on the other. Highly recommend!

This was our second stay at Gabriela’s place. We visit family in the Havelock/Newport area and this is the ideal location for us. We travel with our 2 dogs and a fenced yard is a necessity. Gabriela’s place has a very large, safe yard. Perfect for us!

Yve’s place was wonderful. It was peaceful and perfect for our group. The fenced in yard was perfect for the dogs. They loved running around off leash for a few days. Would highly recommend Yve’s listing to anyone looking for a place around Havelock or Newport.

Beautiful location right on the water. Sleep number bed in the master was wonderful. Really enjoyed remotes for the split units in various rooms and convenience. Definitely would book here again when in the area!

Fenced in yard was great for the dog! Stocked kitchen with supplies, so it was easy to make our own meals. No junk for the kids to get into (which is a huge PLUS) with little ones. Chris was very responsive!

The Whitehurst House, Historic Downtown New Bern

My stay at the Whitehust House was delightful. My host Pollie is amazing and incredibly helpful making sure my time spent here was wonderful. This is a first time staying in downtown New Bern and I love the fact I could walk everywhere. It was such a treat. Perfect location and terrific host makes it a place I plan to return.

Terrific location, everything I wanted to do was within easy walking distance. The apartment is very clean and well-stocked, and the host was extremely responsive when I had a question. Definitely recommend!
