We had a wonderful time at the cabin! It was beautiful with a fully fenced yard so our dog could play to his heart’s content. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything we needed to cook our meals. One small thing, there is no microwave oven, so plan your menu accordingly.

Bob was a great, responsive host. Wonderful, unique, well equipped lodge with lots of beds and warm wood stove. We would definitely come back.

Awesome place to stay for our fire guys. Home was as described, clean and a home away from home for our men. Host was great, very accommodating and communicated well. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful location. The cabin and grounds were beautiful. Being right on the south fork was epic. The fire pit and gazebo, on the river, was a big draw for slow mornings and great evenings. Off grid solar was an added lesson for the kids. Will do this again. Thanks a bunch.

It was our first anniversary and we wanted to get out of Boise and celebrate. We looked at McCall, Cascade, Sun Valley and Ketchum. We found the PERFECT location in your amazing AirBnB in Challis. On the trip we saw fall colors, historic sites, breath taking scenery, deer, elk, mountain sheep, turkeys, antelope, a blue jay and a chipmunk! The centrally located, historic building was converted to lodging and has rustic charm while being updated with all of the modern amenities. It is impeccably clean and organized with everything you would want or need. It is furnished with many intriguing and one of a kind pieces. very artistic, woodsy and western. To maintain the historic integrity they had to be creative with some of the modernizing construction and it resulted in fun, quirky and charming solutions that added to the experience, We loved it! Highly recommended.

We stayed here for the FIS World Cup Finals. Jolie had lots of helpful information laid out for us to gain the best experience while at the Finals. While it was away from the chaos of Sun Valley and Ketchum, you're moments/minutes from Warm Springs. The place had not only many of the extras fantastic hosts have in the house to make things comfortable, she had gone above with extra amenities we've never seen before. The pantry and fridge had many extras we couldn't have expected, yet thoroughly enjoyed. The yard was wonderful for our dog and child. The laundry was an added bonus.

This cabin was a great place for two couples to spend a relaxing weekend away from busy life. It is not new or fancy—but it provided a comfortable stay with almost everything we could have possibly needed. The hosts were promptly responsive and helpful with all our questions and requests. While located in a small grouping of cabins, there was no other activity to speak of—very nice and quiet! Deer and even a couple of foxes provided good entertainment from the campfire in the yard. Ample private parking was nice. We did not need to use the bunkhouse so can’t speak to that. The wood stove in the house was a nice addition to help warm up in the mornings. The kitchen was well stocked with most things needed to cook just about anything—just bring your ingredients. The grill is small but worked well for a few steaks. Overall, it was perfect for our purposes! Just keep in mind, it’s an older, well-loved cabin. Everything was as clean as it could be and was completely serviceable!

Makenzie's place is a great hideaway in the beautiful surroundings of Sun Valley. Highly recommended. :)

We were pleased with the entire home. Very well kept and great amenities. What stood out the most was the incredible view from the back of the home. The Sawtooth Mountains, visible across the grazing lands, take your breath away. We even saw a herd of pronghorn antelope among the cattle! The 7 minute walk to dinner at Sawtooth Hotel where we had a fabulous dinner, was easy peasy. A small hiccup with the pump that supplies water to the property was quickly addressed. All in all, a fabulous stay!

Perfect setting for a weekend with brothers and dad. House was clean and comfortable. Deck was perfect for watching the sun come up over the mountains yet shady in the afternoon. Kaylin and the others at the Rocky Bar Store across the road were extremely helpful and pleasant with any questions and concerns we had. If you want a place that is the center of more recreational opportunities than you can use or just a place to sit and watch the day go by without interruptions this is the place.

Rented this spot for a week work trip to the area and it was just what we we needed, peaceful private, and great spot to get some rest after a long days work. Will definitely be back with my family for a little get away!

It was small and cute perfect for a family of 3-4 the shower was great and got hot water and quick and for a long time tubes of heat and blankets and great black out curtains if your to visit or come back I would recommend this place

Fantastic!!! This is our 2ed time at the ranch and hoping we will able to make it back next year.

Started the Christmas holiday right by spending several days relaxing in this delightful rustic cozy log cabin that was well-equipped w/ a full kitchen, extra amenities, games/puzzles, TV apps, & a well-functioning pellet stove & space heaters. Loved the host's extras, like the festive holiday decorations, goat milk soap & lotion, and fresh hen & duck eggs. Enjoyed walking around the beautiful property & stream and visiting the friendly farm animals (chickens, ducks, farm cats, guinea hens, goats, & working dogs). Quiet scenic location off the beaten path & surrounded by BLM lands. Scenic drive to/from Stanley for recreation & nordic & snowshoeing. Plenty of walking trails near Challis. Lamb's Market grocery store & gas stations easily accessible. Highly recommend dinner at the Real Deal Smokehouse for delicious pulled pork & tri-tip. Very hospitable hostess who was a great communicator. Would happily spend another holiday in this cabin!

We love staying here it's always a nice retreat. We always look for this place when we come to the area.

What a magical and perfect getaway! Stanley holds a dear space in our hearts, so it takes something truly amazing to top the magic of this place. The A-frame was exactly what we needed for our weekend getaway to make it more special than we could have ever imagined. Not only was it dreamy and idyllic for a night in Stanley, our two pups were in heaven! We cannot wait to get back to the cabin to enjoy this incredible land on our next trip to Stanley.
