We were fortunate to stay at the beautiful Kleemann house to celebrate my mother in laws retirement. The house is absolutely stunning. We had 7 adults and 4 children and felt like we had so much room. We loved the outdoor grilling/dining area. The linens felt luxurious and the beds were so comfortable. You can tell a lot of planning and care went into creating this magical space. The enormous house was meticulously clean and had all the amenities we were looking for. If we ever find ourselves in Custer again we will definitely be staying here again.

Luke’s place was terrific - the garage was a bonus and we liked the different heat zones in the house. We found the kitchen well stocked and easy to use. Plus Luke was easy to communicate with and gave lots of local ideas. If you stay here be sure to go to Skogen Kitchen and Hjem Restaurants. Best dining experiences we’ve had on our travels.

We got there a bit after dark and it was further back the road than we thought. Fortunately a light over the garage helped us. No problem with the lock box! Woke up to snow so it was absolutely gorgeous outside. So close to Custer State Park so we did the wild life loop and Needles. Saw so many turkey, sharp tail grouse, begging burrows, buffalo, etc❤️ Great place to stay. Good food in Custer, loved our dinner at Skogen Kitchen, it was 5 star! Thank you!

Great place to stay in an awesome location. Everything was as described. Easy walking to the restaurants that were open in the early season, and great access to the area attractions. Would stay here again if we return.

We really enjoyed staying at Cheri’s place. The location is extremely private and is surrounded by beautiful grounds and nature. We loved sitting on the deck and seeing the family of deer visit us every morning. The accommodations were beautifully decorated, clean and spacious, and perfect for our two-family party of six people. It is also very conveniently located next to Custer. We would definitely come back and we highly recommend this lovely home to others.

Sadie’s place was the perfect match for our group. It is exactly as described and pictured. The kitchen is very well stocked if you plan to cook meals here. The beds are cozy and the linens were great.Although we never turned on the TV, the living room comfortably sat six plus. We prefer to stay away from town for wildlife viewing if that is a possibility. We had deer, both whitetail and mule deer as well as turkeys every morning and evening. Porch on the front is great for sunrise and the back deck is lovely for sunset. A very black sky allowed for stargazing and counting satellites. We felt right at home. You will be happy you stayed at Sadie’s place.

Nice place thats quiet and beautiful. Feeding the deer out back was pretty fun too. Has what a person needs and is perfectly priced. Hot showers, comfortable beds and a good kitchen to cook in.

Great place to stay with tons to do in the area. House was in a great location and we enjoyed our week-long stay!

Historic apartment with lots of character in the heart of Custer. It was immaculate and well-provisioned with thoughtful touches like snacks and a stocked coffee bar. Great restaurants right outside your door, perfect launch point for all the Black Hills have to offer. Will definitely look to stay here again!
