Welcome change to previous stays in Houston area. Peaceful, things around the house are easy to find, comfortable bed. Helped change my mind about Texas, lol. Would recommend for 3+ people. Plenty of room and space to sleep and shower etc. plus upstairs laundry (all bedrooms and showers upstairs so very convenient).

Stayed with a coworker for work and had a great experience. The location was very safe in a neighborhood! It was so clean and comfortable! Very clear and easy instructions! Will stay again if back in the area!

We had a wonderful time at the magical forest. It was a good getaway from all the hustle and bustle. Everything was just as described. We lit a fire and enjoyed chatting out on the deck overlooking the water. I flipped the canoe the first day we were there and had everyone rolling. At the time I didn’t think it was so funny. The water was a bit cold at first! I enjoyed the feeding the fish and just the peace and quiet of it all. We walked the trails and swam in the pool. I noticed that there was wedding arbor which looked like a great spot for a country wedding. AC kept it nice and cool and the WiFi was very strong. Plenty of stuff to watch and steaming services to use when you want to relax and watch something. We loved the high ceilings and windows overlooking the water and the morning sun shining through. This is a great place to get away and Aimee was a great host. She was quick to respond the few times we had questions. Loved our trip to Magical Forest!

We absolutely loved staying here! My kids loved fishing and the lake is stocked. Everything was very clean. Some dirty spots on the walls but bathrooms, kitchen, beds and floors were all very clean. The master bath tub drain wouldn’t work and water would constantly drain. We could take a bath but would have to fill up after a short while. I didn’t bring this up to the host as it wasn’t a big enough deal to me. The kitchen had the very basics and that’s it. It was missing baking sheets, the listing shows that they are provided. Again I didn’t bring it up because it wasn’t a huge deal. My personal opinion is there needs to be more seating for eating. For a house that accommodates 12 there was only 6 seats total. 4 at a small table and 2 at the counter. But that’s just my opinion and the house matched the pictures. I still think even with a couple inconveniences this was still a 5 star stay and would definitely return if needed!

This magical little hideaway was exactly what my husband and I needed to escape from the world. We celebrated our anniversary in peace and tranquility. There are not enough words to explain how dreamy the tub is!!! Faith was so pleasant and welcoming, not overbearing or anything. It was 100% perfect. We will definitely be back!!!

What a little piece of paradise. I traveled from Louisiana for a wedding. I brought two of my children and girlfriend. The kids loved how much room there was. My girlfriend described it as similar to a resort while sitting by the water.

We had a great stay at Elizabeth’s place. The house was beautifully decorated and fully stocked with everything you would need. We were very comfortable there and enjoyed the views in the backyard. I will say that Elizabeth has cameras outside of her home and monitors it - we arrived with a dog (who was not going to stay at the house) and she noticed and gave us a call to make sure the dog was not staying. I don’t blame her for keeping an eye on her house, just noting for others to be aware.

We felt right at home and the lake front was a bonus! Kids had a blast fishing and riding the paddle boat. We would definitely book this house on our future trips to TX.
