Great host and lovely cottage!

Our stay at this charming cottage was nothing short of magical. Tucked away in a serene, picturesque setting, it offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cottage was cozy, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully decorated, exuding mystery and comfort at every turn. Waking up to the gentle sounds of nature, enjoying coffee on the stunning porch, and basking in the breathtaking views made each day unforgettable. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, ensuring every detail was perfect for our stay. This cottage isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a place to reconnect, relax, and create cherished memories. We left with hearts full of gratitude and minds already planning our return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful, rejuvenating retreat.

We spent a month here and felt at home from the moment we arrived. A beautifully remodeled farm home with a picturesque view of the foothills and farmland. Super close to Yaoola Creek park and Dahlonega center, too. And if any issue arose, they responded immediately. Jeana, the property manager, went above and beyond for us. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an escape to the beautiful north Georgia countryside.

Very peaceful stay for 4 adults just before new years. The woodburning stove was helpful for chilly nights, and the hot tub was enjoyed. Murphy and the surrounding areas are wonderful to explore. Would visit again sometime.

The house was amazing! Pictures were very accurate. Nice welcoming basket of goodies and a bottle of wine. Very nice touch! Sauna and hot tub were clean and very usable. The dogs had a blast! Very nice fenced yard and back area. One block off Main Street, walking distance to all of downtown, plenty of restaurants and bars, less than a mile to grocery store. I have already referred this to three families who are interested, and we will be back! Erica was a pleasure to deal with, very responsive, courteous and friendly.

The home was beautifully decorated for the holidays making us feel at home from the start. The home had all the amenities needed and very clean. Laura was a great host providing information on what to do in the area and responses to any questions we had. Had an a time! A wonderful way to start the New Year!

I loved my stay at Ferngully! Everything was as described. Instructions were clear and thorough. I felt right at home. I didn’t utilize all of the amenities, but there was plenty if needed. The hot tub was great which was a major factor in booking. Location was another factor. I enjoyed an amazing sunset from Bell Mountain, which is not far. I also rode over to Alpine Helen.

This is a very beautiful house. Clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay here. Micheal and Sydney were very helpful and easy to talk to. I 100% recommend it.

What an oasis Callie has created! So glad we chose The Schoolhouse for our weekend get-away. This beautifully decorated home was so cozy, a true comfort from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We felt at home in the beautiful Georgia countryside. Could go back time and time again. Callie’s attention to detail has preserved its history and tells a story in every room.

this little gem is beautiful and if you want to feel disconnected and just enjoy nature this is the pot to be. The koi fish are beautiful, watching deer walka around the property is so peaceful, we had a great time here. Helen, GA is only 20 min away and you enjoy all the amenities they have. however, if you want to stay in the you'll be fine too. the place is fully stocked with all the amenities you need to cook a meal or you go outside and enjoy the fire pit. this place is definitely one of our favorites, will definitely go back. the host is very responsive and communication is awesome. I will definitely recommend this place.

This is the best location! Right in the center of Clarksville. Easy walk to all the little shops. Great place to stay while in N. Georgia.

Second time staying at the property and my dog loves it! The yard is great and the cabin super cozy with all the amenities you need for yourself and your furry friend.

This home is in a gorgeous location right on the lake. There is opportunity to hang out outside or inside, depending upon weather. It was in the 30’s and rainy when we were there, the home was very cozy. It was too wet for the fire pit. The dock would be great for spring and summer hangouts. We fished by the lakeside on the last afternoon when the sun came out. Saw a couple of deer every evening and morning. Lots of restaurants, shopping, grocery nearby. The beds were comfy, linens clean, house was clean, heater worked. I would stay here again.

We loved the cabin and would stay there again if we come back to the area. It was so peaceful and beautiful. The cabin is about a 10 minute drive to Helen. There are several wineries nearby and lots of places to hike.

Judith’s place was very nice. Quiet peaceful lake front home and just 10 minutes to downtown Cleveland. Would recommend and would stay again.

Our family had a truly wonderful stay at the cabin over Christmas! Nestled in a peaceful location with beautiful scenery, it was the perfect place to celebrate the holiday together. The cabin was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a memorable stay. We especially loved spending time by the fireplace, enjoying the warmth and ambiance it added to our holiday. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we had so much fun baking our favorite treats. Our dog also had a fantastic time exploring the neighborhood on walks—it was such a pet-friendly and welcoming space! Nancy went above and beyond to make our visit special, even decorating the cabin for Christmas before we arrived. It was such a sweet touch and really made our stay feel magical. Everything was clean, inviting, and exactly what we were looking for in a holiday retreat. We highly recommend this cabin and can’t wait to return for another stay!

The air bnb had a cozy feel perfect for a short stay.

The cottage was great, it was very clean, with all the necessary amenities. The alpacas grazing on the property was a bonus. The location is close to hikes, several wineries, etc. Tina and Jay were gracious hosts. We had a lovely time!!

This Airbnb was a cozy and quiet cottage surrounded by trees, and song birds. There were other small cottages on the property but our place felt private. We enjoyed watching the chickens roaming around and the neighbors’ horses were beautiful to watch as well. This place is a 40 minute curvy mountainous drive to the “German” themed town of Helen and about a 15 minute drive to the town of Blairsville. Also about a 30 minute drive to short hiking trails and waterfalls. The owners provided a very helpful information book containing menus from nearby restaurants and other things to do. The cottage has a queen bed, loveseat, recliner chair, tv, dining table for 2, and a small kitchenette.

Always a beautiful location and always immaculately clean with tons of amenities inside and out. My kids love the toys and we all love the games. Close to town but far enough to feel like a retreat. Thank you!

We spend a few days after Christmas and the place was clean and quiet to relax , we definitely stay here again .

Just everything at Don's place was remarkable, from the friendly greeting by the Co-host, Shelia, the ease of check-in after a tiring trip from Florida, the spotless cottage, the beautiful and comfortable furniture and the gift basket of goodies, including wine, cheese, cheesecake, fruit, crackers, and stocked refrigerator full of special treats like steak sauces, barbeque sauce, catsup and mustard packets, jellies, pizza, Texas toast, and breakfast sandwiches. You will also enjoy the quiet of the neighborhood only interrupted occasionally by the call of the rooster down the street. And the incredible pasture behind the cottage, the firepit, the back porch - just an absolutely amazing place and perfect getaway, a home away from home in the mountains. It doesn't get better than this. And our two chihuahuas agree. They loved their walks around the cottage on the grassy grounds and being back inside the warm cottage, watching TV with us.

We had a great time in the riverside cottage. The cottage was clean, the beds were comfortable, the fireplace made cool evening cozy and the kitchen was nice. We loved sitting in the sunroom listening to the water.
