Quiet bwthyn, near coast, St Davids

Quirky, fun space in a tiny, traditional Welsh barn, with thick stone walls and a dinky Welsh woodstove (logs provided). Perfect for sea swimmers, walkers, seal spotters, bird watchers and beach goers. Cycles and surf boards to borrow, at your risk. Walk a mile to the coast path for spectacular sea views, cycle/drive 10 minutes to St Davids or Whitesandsbeach, 15 to the Blue Lagoon. We supply bread, butter, eggs, milk, coffee, tea and sugar for your first breakfast. Sadly we cannot host dogs.

Just a short 2 minute walk from the local historical town of Pembroke, home to Pembroke Castle with many of Pembrokeshire’s famous coastal path walks and finest beaches such as Tenby and Saundersfoot a short car or train ride away. We are 15 minutes by car to the beaches at Freshwater West, top surfing spot and home to Dobby’s Grave, Broadhaven South and the stunning Barafundle to name but a few. In addition the charming seaside towns of Tenby and Saundersfoot are only a 20 minute drive making Driftaway Cottage the perfect base to explore all Pembrokeshire has to offer.

Snoozy Bear Cabin- amazing walk to the beach!

Snoozy Bear is a truly unique light, warm and cosy bolthole sitting at the top of the National Trust’s Abermawr woods, it is a beautiful 15 minute walk to the stunning secluded beaches of Abermawr and Aberbach and the famous Melin Tregwynt wooden mill. A quirky converted artists studio, the Cabin has an amazing view through the Beech tree canopy across the valley.- One couple commented that they felt they were in a tree house! Light up the vintage Jotul wood burner and snuggle down!
