We had an amazing stay at the Jackalope Lodge. Shawn is a fantastic host, responds quickly and was friendly and efficient when he met us to show us around. The cottage and the grounds are wonderful. We celebrated the New Years with my extended family, 13 of us! There were comfortable beds for everyone and plenty of cozy space to enjoy. The hot tub and sauna are clean and well kept and great to enjoy in winter. The outdoor space is wonderful - we saw beautiful wildlife in the water and the fire pit area is phenomenal. The kitchen is well equipped - you can cook pretty much anything as well as bbq on the large deck. We highly recommend - you will not be disappointed. :)

Thank you Anna! The place was cozy and comfortable. The place had everything that we needed. BBQ, hot tub, camp fire, Netflix and everything else you would need when visiting a place like this. Walmart and grocery stores close by if you need to buy something as well. Overall a great place that I would recommend and even stay again! Summer or winter it’s a great spot. My family and I were happy to stay at this rental property for a second time over the Easter long weekend. Barry continues to be a great host. The home remains spacious enough for a big family (and dog!), while remaining cozy and comfortable. We had yet another peaceful weekend in the Valley. Thank you for your hospitality once again, Barry! We look forward to our next visit.

It was a wonderful cottage in a beautiful setting. Sparkling clean, well furnished, with more amenities than you could ever imagine. We stayed for 3 days but wish it could have been 3 weeks.

Wow! This private 5 bedroom wooden log house was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by its cozy, rustic appeal. The firepit was a huge highlight – perfect for relaxing evenings under the stars. And the hot tub? Pure bliss after a day of exploring. The kitchen was another standout feature. It was incredibly well-equipped with absolutely everything we needed to cook delicious meals. We really appreciated having all the necessary appliances and even some extras. Beyond the amazing amenities, the house itself was spotless, comfortable (especially the beds and pillows), and beautifully maintained. oh, and did I mention Arunraj was a very responsive host! It truly felt like a home away from home. We didn't want to leave! We wholeheartedly recommend this Airbnb for a memorable and relaxing getaway. Five stars all the way!

If I could rate this place in one sentence it would be "we wished we lived here". Everyone in my family (dog included) loved the property. It was CLEAN, nice, spacious, warm and exactly as what you see in the photos. We didn't use the indoor fireplace at all as the home was well heated (I get cold easily too). The living room makes you feel very cozy when the sunsets and watching the stars at night here is breathtaking. The hosts sends you a PDF guide prior to your arrival so you know what to expect and a hard copy is available onsite as well. We mainly communicated with Foad and he was very responsive, kind and really helped us out when we got lost on our way there. Quick tip: use Google Maps! The hosts also provided complimentary chocolate and champagne when you arrive which was an added bonus. I'm also very thankful for the complimentary Keurig/ hot chocolate! Will definitely revisit again!

Words cannot describe how impressed we were with Laughing Moose. The minute I walked in the front door I felt I could live here for ever. The incredible views, the spacious kitchen the stylish little pieces of decor make this place comfortable, relaxing and luxury. Janice pays attention to every little detail to ensure we had a fabulous time! From the selection of quality glasses, crockery and cooking utensils to the games and puzzles ( we completed a full jig saw puzzle between us) we had everything we could possibly need and much more. Even a thoughtful and delicious blueberry pie to welcome us !! We were visiting from Australia and planned this weekend with our two sons and families for a getaway together. It couldn’t have been more perfect and we made such fabulous memories. So much space for all 8 of us plus the 2 dogs! I can’t thank you enough for this special visit! This was the perfect "home away from home" for the holidays! We stayed at Brad's for a few days over Christmas to be closer to family. The check-in/out process was simple. The communication and response time with Brad was great. This modern and very clean cottage had everything we needed. The kitchen was impressive and well stocked with appliances/dishes. It was perfect for cooking Christmas dinner! We were most appreciative that our furr babies were welcome too. If you are looking for a tranquil, cozy spot with beautiful surroundings then this place ticks off the boxes.

The cottage was surrounded by beautiful views, had a comfy interior and was close to excellent trails. It had everything we needed to make wonderful meals, enjoy a fire, and relax the time away! We really enjoyed hiking to the view point on bear mountain. Remember to bring all supplies as we ran into a situation where we didn’t bring shampoo/conditioner, etc. The cottage has a few decks, all with comfortable seating and great views. If you’re looking for a quiet spot, close to nature and the lake then this is your place :)

We enjoyed a lovely week at Matt's place on Lake Clear. The cottage was very clean and had enough room for us to spread out. We loved spending time down by the bunk house over looking the water. The cottage was well appointed and had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation.

My husband Jon and I loved our stay at Ken's cabin. It was a great place to use as a base to explore Algonquin and provided a cozy home in the evenings where we could play video games, watch old films, and just chill out. Bongo's tavern on Tuesday night was excellent, with great food, drinks, and vibes. Bongo & Andrea (and the rest of the gang at Bongo's) are so much fun and they made us feel extra welcome. Thank you for an amazing stay. We are already looking forward to staying here again on our next visit to Algonquin Park.

This is a beautiful spot, quite private and spacious! We loved the view from the big windows and porches! I hope we can return some time for another enjoyable vacation.

We had the best weekend! The house is perfect. Fully equipped with everything you could need and decorated so lovely- I can’t think of anything I’d want different. The location is idyllic- peaceful, beautiful, yet very convenient to get to lovely local trails. Peter was incredibly friendly and quick to respond. I hope we get an opportunity to return as we would 100% recommend it!

Josh and Alyssa are great hosts. They are friendly and responsive, and made our stay easy and enjoyable. Their place is set up well, with lots of things to do inside and out. Not to mention, their rates are very reasonable. I would recommend staying with them.

This has got to be one of the best vacations I’ve had. Insung’s place was very peaceful and quiet, while still having a lot of things to do. The house was very clean, kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable. My partner and I rented a boat from a local outfitter but unfortunately didn’t catch any fish, I’m assuming it’s because of the season. There is also a small, private shallow “beach” by the dock which can be perfect for kids. The gazebo is lovely for the times you want to be outside but not with the bugs! Overall, Insung’s place was a dream! I will definitely be back with my family! Thank you, Insung!

We stayed in Lyle’s beautiful cottage for thanksgiving weekend and Loved the place. It was clean, tidy, child friendly as he had kept some board games as well. My 6 year old was super excited seeing the bunk bed in one of the rooms. Moreover the kitchen had almost everything that we needed to cook our meals. The best part of our stay was canoeing in the morning as there were enough canoes, life jackets of each size. Overall, we loved our stay at this place and would recommend our friends. Though it is far from GTA, it was worth the long drive. And Lyle is a great host , very responsive to messages hence I didn’t find any issues in communicating, thanks !.

We really enjoyed our stay - nice and quiet area and a great base for exploring Manitou mountain and calabogie peaks resort. Clean and tidy. Recommend!

This was a great location and cottage. There was nothing major to comment on. It would have been nice if there were trails within walking distance but there's lots to do at the cottage itself (canoes, kayaks, pool table, lots of lawn space). There was a good, comfortable amount of space for all of our guests to have their own room. Ping was very responsive when messaged with any questions.

Had a lovely lovely time at the cottage with my family. My mom said she felt right at home with all the amenities & kitchen supplies inside & my dad enjoyed the fresh air & row boat. My partner loved the kayak & fishing opportunities! It was the perfect cozy nature getaway that satisfied different interests among a picturesque view. We even saw the northern lights. My family of 11 (parents, grandparents, siblings, kids) had a lovely stay over Thanksgiving weekend. The cabins were so well stocked with everything you could possibly need for cooking etc, and Janet was quick to respond to any concerns and questions we had during our stay. The weather was lovely, the cabins were so charming and comfortable, and we couldn't have asked for better weather. We would absolutely consider coming back again.
