Sylvatica Ecolodge Nature Retreat

If you love tranquil cozy cabins in the woods, you will love Sylvatica Ecolodge! Sylvatica is a latin word meaning "of the forest" and this lodge is exactly that. It's a 4-acre property adjacent to the Hiawatha National Forest with a very diverse mature hardwood forest, a 0.5 acre planted prairie, a pond, woodland plant gardens, and butterfly/hummingbird gardens. The property includes a 0.3 mile long interpretive nature trail explaining the natural environment and history.

Dogs are welcome, our policy excludes cats. We also have two other units available in this bldg. The Delta Loft and the Delta Nest ! Small one bedroom ground floor apartment. Handicap accessible bathroom. This unit has a Private fenced side yard, a full size sleeper sofa with upgraded mattress in the living room. Secluded cabin in a beautiful setting immediately adjacent to Hunters Brook Waterfall and the Escanaba River. This is a place for total relaxation and exploration. It offers excellent fly or spin cast fishing in a shale bottom river. Sit by the fire pit and enjoy nature at it’s best. This is a “must experience” type of getaway! It’s a great place to unplug.
