The Porter House, built in 1830-1850, is located in the heart of Raymond, MS. The home has two bedrooms upstairs each with full bathrooms and separated by a well-stocked coffee bar. The Porter House has a beautiful garden with fire pit and chairs. The Porter House is 5 minutes off of the Natchez Trace, 15 minutes from Clinton, and 30 minutes from Ridgeland/Jackson. Locust Street Cottage

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Built in 1830 and lovingly renovated for now, it’s a slice of Vicksburg’s past. The Old Courthouse museum is visible from the back courtyard and the historic downtown is just a short walk. There’s a brewery and several unique restaurants just a few blocks away in the downtown with fun shopping close by. Casinos and the National Military Park are just a short drive. Has a desk, if needed and internet provided.

During the restoration we found letters and Vicksburg artifacts that are displayed throughout the home. Sky cottage by the park is a unique 1939 home, that was newly remodeled. It's close to downtown, walking distance to the park, and it's in a quiet neighborhood with 1.5 acres of woods. And wildlife abounds. We provide everything you need for the stay from bedding and towels, pots and pans, wifi, washer and dryer, 3 bedrooms withs queen beds and one of them has two chairs that convert to single beds.
