Houten huisjes in Dillon Beach

This was a great, unique spot. We wish we stayed longer. Definitely not for everyone, as there are a lot of irregular stairs down a steep hillside, but that was part of the magic. We had a roaring fire both nights, and enjoyed the hot tub which we were baffled how it was ever installed down the hill. We enjoyed day trips and the local scene before continuing north on our redwoods road trip. Thanks again!

We had an amazing three night stay at Bob's home in Guerneville in early April. The setting is serene. It is up a small road that takes you onto a wooded ridge, so you feel perched in the trees when you look out the windows or sit on the back deck. There are a lot of uniquely configured windows that frame your view of the surroundings. The furnishings and decor are also beautifully curated to give the home a warm and lively feeling. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom was perfectly adequate, and smart TV setup worked well for us. We were not there long enough to make good use of the kitchen and BBQ, but hope to next time. The appliances, dishware, and everything else seemed to be in great shape. Long story short - we highly recommend Bob's home and would love to go back.

We had a great stay at the Treehouse! Chad was easy to reach and super quick to respond, though we didn't have any issues that needed his attention while we were there. Couple tips: Chad mentions there can be issues with ants and he's not kidding. We were careful about crumbs, but did have a box of cereal on the counter and they made their way in. To be clear, this is not a criticism of the space in any way - ants are gonna ant. We just started keeping all food in the fridge just to be safe and that seemed to work! If you're visiting during the off season, be advised many businesses are only open Thursday-Sunday. We had to adjust our stay a bit at the last minute and wound up arriving Sunday and leaving Thursday morning. Still had a great time, and there was still plenty to do, we just missed a couple things I wish we wouldn't have. Guess it's just a good excuse to come back!

Ryan & James place is a real gem. We had such a special, peaceful stay and enjoyed all the amenities, views and nearby hiking and beaches. You can hear the sound of the ocean waves from the beautiful deck. It was everything we wanted for our little romantic getaway. Thank you for sharing with us!

Awesome clean and cozy space. Jacuzzi in the woods and the wood burning stove really made it very special.

Even better than advertised! We loved this little place in the woods — it was so cozy and comfortable and close to town, the national seashore, and all of the incredible places around the area. We loved soaking in the hot tub after a long day of sightseeing, grabbing wine from the market right down the street, and relaxing in the wonderful space looking out at all the greenery. We’d absolutely return!

The house was perfect getaway for a relaxing spring break with my two tween kids and dog. It's definitely a place you want to cozy up in and read a book when it rains. It was decorated beautifully. The master bedroom was great, best night sleep and the little hidden loft was great for my kids. Did not miss having a TV, loved the record player and it offered us time to disconnect and play a lot of board games. However, wifi was strong when the kids did want to play/watch things on their tablets. Scenery around the house is stunning and it's close by the Sea Ranch Lodge if we wanted to go out for breakfast or dinner. Not too far from Stewarts Point General Store as well which was a cute spot. My kids loved the place so much they asked if we could move there!

Danielle’s place was a proper retreat in nature. Sooo well thought out. The hot tub with the views was the highlight. Loved the lighting in the bath too. We cooked there too. We had everything we needed to cook. Just the best time!!🦋 we would def return!! ✨❤️

Our stay at the Dogwood Cabin was absolutely amazing! It totally blew us away with its stunning aesthetics and the unbeatable tranquility it offered. The heaters were a lifesaver on those chilly nights, keeping us cozy and warm. Plus, the location couldn't have been better—a perfect hub for adventures! From wine tasting to kayaking, there was so much to explore in every direction (our longer journeys to other towns were around 1-2 hours). We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing experience!

The cabin is very quiet with great views. The wood stove is more than sufficient to keep the place warm just be sure to bring some kindling and some paper. There was also a nice list of suggested spots and a record player. Overal a lovely stay.

This is an amazing place to stay! First of all, 1/3 acre in Monte Rio, fully FENCED, and next to a CREEK, is rare. Our senior dog LOVED it! Lorri thought of everything. From the dog towel, to the instructions on how to start and operate the fire pit and grill. It was all so inviting. The house-book is a must-read. We were greeted with chocolate chip and walnut cookies which were wonderful to snack on after a nearly 4 hour drive. Sweet Creek is EXTREMELY pet friendly but you still have to be a responsible pet owner and pick up after your pets and the basic things like dry their feet off and drape any furniture with sheets if they lay down on them. The picture board of animals who've stayed there, and the wonderful binder full of thank you notes was just so touching. We felt like we were staying at a friends house, not airbnb. We can't say enough with the character count left. Sweet Creek is a must! We will RETURN!

We had a wonderful stay at Victoria's cabin. We loved everything about it. Sonoma Raceway was an easy 10-minute drive away, and the view was beautiful. I wish we had more time to spend at this unique cabin, we would definitely stay here again.

Our little family loved our spring break at the cabin. highlights: quiet, serene space, with a creek! minimalist digs with the focus on the forest great kitchen and dining area tastefully updated, yet still rustic comfy beds extra space heaters in downstairs closet plenty of towels things to note: The shower is in a claw-foot tub and it's a hassle. The shower curtain wouldn't quite stay put, it sticks you, and it felt like we were getting water everywhere, which made it hard to reach our soap and shampoo. Great for soaking but not so great for daily showers. Stepping out over the side was challenging for my son. The wood stove is a Franklin stove. Great for ambiance but doesn't do a lot to heat the cabin unless you constantly feed it with firewood. Plan to bring some to use in addition to the provided space heaters. There weren't a lot of extra blankets available that we could find, but the heaters kept us warm. All in all, beautiful, quiet, no cell service, perf.

Cute and cozy cabin by the waters. We visited the Point Reyes, lighthouse and the beaches. Pristine and calm location. The cabin was very clean and both the beds was extremely comfortable. Kitchen also well equipped to cook small meals and enjoy your coffee. Overall very well decorated and maintained cozy home 🏠

Really nice place, good location, house was very nice, had pretty much what I needed, it was clean and had a great outdoor area to just relax and enjoy the surroundings. Host was awesome too...great communication and ready to help if I needed it.

Perfect spot for a long weekend stay! Comfortable with lots of natural light. A welcoming space for kids and dogs - especially appreciate the securely fenced yard. Looked exactly like the photos, and every amenity was as described.

Where to begin? Words simply can’t capture the magic of our stay at Perjol’s Redwood Retreat. My only regret is that we didn’t discover it sooner, as our three-night stay was a last-minute addition that turned out to be the perfect finale to an incredible vacation. Among the many amazing Airbnb experiences we’ve had worldwide, this ranks as one of our top three, if not the best. The pictures don’t even begin to do justice to the beauty and attention to detail that Perjol has poured into this serene haven. Little touches, like the incense, truly made our stay special—especially for this Perfume and Chandler. The cabin is fully equipped for cooking, complete with a gas BBQ. The beds were ultra-comfortable, and the main bathroom offered a zen spa experience, with the soaking tub being a highlight. The sunroom was so enchanting that I could have spent days there. Aggie’s place was clean, cozy and full of charm. Everything was easy to use and felt like care was taken when planning how the space would be used by guests. We had a wonderful time and very much appreciate the hospitality.

Beautiful house with gorgeous forest views. The sauna and hot tub were amazing, as was the wrap-around porch. The instructions were clear and the hosts allowed us to enjoy our vacation in peace. Overall, I had a great, relaxing bday with friends. This airbnb is a 6-star vacation spot. I would return. Thank you!

Wonderful little cabin in the woods! We got to enjoy both sun and fog and both were beautiful in their own ways. We will be back for sure.

Lovely weekend at a beautiful cabin with everything you need. 3 min walk to a breathtaking ocean view. 15 minute walk into town. An amazing, restful weekend in a very special place.

My family and I had a nice 2 night stay at Kevin’s cabin in Camp Meeker! We had never been to area but it was private, quiet and secluded. The road up is narrow but we got familiar with the drive after arriving. The location is very close to the downtown Occidental area where there are some nice brunch and restaurants. It was also a nice central location to drive to Sebastopol and Guerneville. The cabinet itself was rustic as it was described, but we really enjoyed the hot tub and the cozy fireplace. There was plenty of space for us three and the bed was comfortable too. The host was also friendly and provided plenty of communication and directions ahead of time. Overall, a great stay and would recommend!
