Spacious one bedroom apartment in the lower part of a house, steps DOWN from the street - a basement flat. Outstanding location in the Capitol Hill neighborhood, beautiful tree-lined streets (lots of blossoms still in April!). We could walk to local coffee shops, a Trader Joe's. Newly remodeled, modern furnishings, new appliances including a washer dryer, and a small dishwasher (which we didn't use). Serenely decorated in shades of grey, white - luxury bed linens on a good firm mattress. My daughter slept in the bedroom and I parked myself on the ample sofa with a blanket and pillow. The flat is not furnished for more than one couple (no sleeper sofa), but the sofa was very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped, but we didn't eat in as we couldn't figure out the electric stovetop , not sure if working. Anyway, time was short and there were several restaurants close enough where we could grab a bite. Very pleasant, well priced, would stay here again. Thanks so much!

Great place for visiting Washington DC. The location of the apartment is perfect. Everything is very clean and organized. The beds are very good, bathrooms are very clean. The apartment access is very well organized. Even if we arrived late I was able to get direct instructions from our host how to enter the building and the apartment - perfect logistics and organization - THANKS a lot!

Fantastic location -- a great place for our family to stay for a long weekend in DC to see the sites.

Beautiful property and excellent location! The only issue we had was understanding which place we would be assigned prior to booking, since they manage multiple properties in the same location with slightly altered layouts. We were advised that we needed to book first to confirm which property we would be assigned but after booking, confirmation of the unit was not available until after the free cancellation period. Otherwise, everything was good and we were satisfied with the unit we ended up with, but there could be a more transparent way to notify guests of which property they are booking.

Exactly as advertised, great neighborhood, large bathroom, nice pool, ok gym, close to public transport, ton of great restaurants at all price points and museums around, super close to the capitol mall. Pretty turnkey easy to get in. The Airbnb itself is pretty basic, with all the basics covered.
