The deserted Dookinella stone village still stands in the field nextdoor. Keel village is a 5-minute drive with restaurants, local butcher selling Achill lamb and fisherman selling from boat. Surf school for all ages. Fabulous walks begin right at the door from easy to mountain hikes. Good for couples and families. Good WiFi. Wheelchair accessible.

Cosy, comfortable cottage, quiet area by the sea,overlooking saula peir. Breathtaking views of Curran mountains.There is a small town called Achill Sound approx 4km away,where there is shops, cafe, supermarkets, 2 pubs, 2 hotels and bike hire. There are other great places to eat approx 12-15km away. Our Cottage is close to the greenway where you can walk or cycle. There is fantastic views along the Atlantic drive from. Clough more to Dooega, where you can see the Atlantic ocean for miles.

Perfect for groups of hikers, surfers or to get all the family together. Lodge sleeps 18 - new for 2026 - bedrooms composed of 6 twin, one king and one bedroom with 4 single beds. Three ensuite bedrooms. Eight bedrooms in total - offering a very comfortable experience for up to 18 guests (all bunkbeds removed). Games room in rear garden pod.

Ideal location for water sports/outdoor activities or the perfect location for a romantic or peaceful getaway.
