I have stayed in a lot of Airbnbs and this was the best experience ever. I feel incredibly lucky to have had the chance to spend time here with my kids and get to know Jean and Dave. Their log home is beautiful, soulful, and a marvel of engineering. The views of the meadow and surrounding peaks are breathtaking. It's also very convenient to Kirkwood. The kids loved riding in the snow cat and t playing with their adorable St. Bernese. The breakfasts were also outstanding--especially the sourdough pancakes with organic strawberries. But the best thing about the experience was Jean and Dave, hosts who really took an interest in their guests and have fostered a welcoming and engaging community of travelers. We hope to get the chance to return soon!

My youngest son and I had an amazing time. This was one of the best places that I’ve ever stayed. We will definitely be back. Dave and Jean were the friendliest most welcoming host that I have ever had. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My 7yr old and myself had an unforgettable stay! The house was fantastic and the surrounding is stunningly beautiful. Rooms are super clean and very cozy. Jean and Dave (and their dog Cub) are very friendly and easy to communicate. Plan to come back next snow season with the full family!

This place is not a regular Airbnb. It is a magical place. The lodge was absolutely gorgeous. It is the best log home I've ever seen. The winter scenery from every window was breathtaking. The home has everything. I couldn't believe it was off grid. A little squirrel came to the bedroom window to say hi every morning. Snowshoeing to "Magic Meadow" from the doorstep was a perfect winter hike. What makes this place magical is not only the property and the location, but also the host!! Dave, Jean, and Cub were super warm and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home and taken care of. On top of that, the breakfast was fantastic! I can't think of anything to add to the experience.

Amanda was very responsive providing directions during a snow storm. The house was an amazing setting for my group of friends - the bottom floor with the pool table and air hockey was a big hit. House was spacious and the multi-flooring layout made it easy to sleep. Great house - would definitely rent again

This was a great cabin to stay at and all my friends really enjoyed it! Beautiful Cabin, Lakeview, and the Hot Tub was just icing on the cake! 10/10 will be staying again!

We had a great stay! Z was very responsive when I messaged with questions both before our stay and during. We got to the house really late due to a delayed flight and a very snowy drive so we did a few circles before finding the house. We were tired and it was kind of hard to see and bad gps, but once we got used to the area it was so easy to find! Location was great if you like the Nevada side of Heavenly, which we do. The house was well equipped with kitchen equipment and even seasonings. We loved the very cozy dual living rooms with fire places, both upstairs and downstairs. We appreciated the hot tub after a day of snowboarding. Everything was clean and comfortable, we enjoyed our stay very much. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Molly’s place was the perfect long weekend getaway for our family of 8. Location was perfect, close to Heavenly and the downtown area. The place was spacious, has great communal areas for relaxing, and large kitchen area with updated appliances. Only thing missing was a hot tub after a long day of skiing! Molly is an excellent host and was responsive to all of our requests/questions. We greatly enjoyed her house and would stay here again!

Great cabin located close to all the hiking in Lake Tahoe, reccomend for small groups. We had an excellent stay, only reccomendation is for some furniture on the patio, great place to relax.

What makes a house a home… Apparently it’s the top-notch audio system, Buck Hunter, and the jaw-dropping views (from all angles but esp the hot tub)! What an amazing rental—it’s really hard to put a label on what makes the place so special because it's just EVERYTHING. This place really has "all the things" as Jeff said. Speaking of Jeff, he was an awesome, super chill, super responsive host and his fun personality comes out in all the special touches around the house. Rent this place and you'll see what I mean—you won't regret it!
