We had a lovely 2 night stay in The Summerhouse on Dale Farm a converted cowshed . Its in a beautiful rural setting and part of a working farm The accommodation is open plan and all on one level although there are a couple of steps. The furnishings and decor are quirky and very appropriate. The kitchen was simple and we didn't miss not having a dishwasher. Ideal for a couple

This cottage is one of the best Airbnb homes that I have stayed in. It is situated within 10 minutes of the coast. Stephen and Linda are great hosts, they are there if you need them for any reason. The cottage itself is very clean, comfortable and has every thing that you may need.

Beautiful homely cottage, spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything that you need. A lovely hamper on arrival with delicious biscuits that were gluten and dairy free for one of the guests which was a very kind touch. Perfect for our dog fully enclosed yard, and a very peaceful location, not far to travel to many places nearby. I would highly recommend the cottage and hope to return again. Thank you for allowing us and our friends to stay, a lovely weekend we all had.

Semi-rural. No pub or shops near the village where the accommodation is - but within 10 minutes drive of Selby and York Outlet . Long country road to the house but adds to the journey - lovely drive through some woods and fields. Quiet. Judy is very helpful, funny and a warm friendly person. If you need advice on local area she is very approachable.

Had a wonderful stay, everything was as described and we had a wonderful time. Complimentary bottle of Prosecco was the cherry on top. Great location with a great view from the hot tub. Would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing weekend away !

We had a wonderful weekend in the Barn. Everything was as pictured and more! Very clean too! Kerry and Amy were great hosts and organised decorations on arrival and a cocktail masterclass for our group. They were always available to answer queries. The only minor issue we had was getting taxis to pick us up from the correct address - but make sure they use the right postcode and you’ll be fine. Great stay all round and would definitely return.

The Old Parlour was the best place we have ever stayed on air bnb, we had an amazing experience for my partners 30th. It is a real stand out location and is full of thoughtful touches from Ella and Sam. Extremely clean and fresh, garden was perfect for our toddler and dogs. Stunning walks and views straight from the front door and such a relaxing stay. Cannot wait to return!

Beautiful little cottage in the peaceful hamlet of Stearsby. Perfectly equipped for our family of 3 plus dog. The beds were especially comfy and we really appreciated the welcome treats and all the essentials for the stay. Nicola gave us an extensive list of local recommendations and over our 3 days we ate extremely well at a couple of Michelin starred restaurants and pubs, with lovely walks either side. a perfect stay for the long weekend

This is our second visit to Robert's place and we will definitely return again as we love it. The cottage has a very homely feeling, all furniture and equipment is very good quality. When we had a concern about something, Robert got onto it straight away and fixed the problem. Though the cottage is on a farm site, and there could be people coming and going, it wasn't disruptive at all. There is a good balance of friendliness and privacy. We saw deer and other wildlife in the surrounding area. Truly a peaceful and restorative place to stay.

Lovely conversion in a quiet off road courtyard. Very peaceful. Well laid out with lovely decor and excellent artwork throughout. Very, very comfortable sofas in the lounge area. Perfect for exploring the area east of York, or York itself. Very friendly, helpful neighbours. We would be happy to return.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful accommodation. Cottage was perfect for our family of four and very well equipped. Spotlessly clean and in a lovely private spot. Jane was the perfect host. Would love to come again soon.

Great location. Close to Malton, a beautiful foodie market town with lots of independent shops, and 30 minute drive from York. Location on the farm is peaceful. Cottage has everything you need and more, all the amenities you would have at home you can find her. Owners are very welcoming. Had a great chat, from which we discovered the meadow by the farm house, which we then spent a lovely few hours in reading and enjoying the sun. A blissful weekend away.

This cottage fully deserves a 5 star rating and is very well equipped. It was warm, comfortable and clean The location is beautiful. We will definitely re book.

We enjoyed a lovely holiday in this cottage. It was very cosy and comfortable. Great kitchen and shower room. We traveled to Harrogate, York, Castle Howard, Bridlington, Helmsley and Whitby. Beautiful countryside! The peacocks were interesting to watch and we weren’t disturbed by their unique call.

We have had a fabulous stay at this gorgeous house (family of 7 with a 1 year old). Liz was an excellent host, so responsive and friendly. The house was spotless and had everything we could need. Beautiful rooms & bathrooms and a lovely garden with a hot tub, which was perfect for star gazing. Beverley is only a 10 minute drive away with lots of shops, pubs & restaurants. We spent three weeks at the farm with our dog Cozette, hosting my brother and his two adult children for the Christmas week. The barn conversion was the perfect place for a family gathering and Francis was kind enough to supply a Christmas tree and other decorations as well as a tasty welcome basket. Fresh eggs, additional firewood and other farm supplies were available right from the farm. We enjoyed several trips into York as well as numerous hiking excursions, either up to an hour's drive or right out of the door. The beds were comfy and the wood burner a delight during the long Yorkshire evenings. Our only caution was that we had spotty internet access. It was adequate for checking emails and such, but caused some frustration when my husband was trying to video call with work. But over all, we had a wonderful stay and were sad to say goodbye.

We had a lovely stay , really comfy beds and settees . Lovely welcome with biscuits , coffee , tea and milk . Right opposite the village duck pond which my son loved and the pub 2 mins walk specialises in steak , they were some of the best we have tasted .

Fantastic two night stay here. It was as described if not better! The only downside was the size of the single beds - they really aren’t suitable for fully grown adults. This is made clear in the description, though, so I absolutely cannot (and haven’t) mark it down for this. Great location. Excellent host. Lovely touch of scones and cream when we arrived. I would definitely stay again.

Pear Tree Cottage is a beautiful place to stay with easy access to York via car or bus. Ideal as a base to explore further a field! Great instructions and reccomendations with a lovely complimentary welcome basket. Super clean, really comfy and beautiful surroundings. We would definitely go back!

We had a wonderful stay at Vanessa’s home in Bishopthorpe. It was such a comfortable and homely stay for the week; such an open and spacious cottage with a pretty garden in view. Everything was thought of by Vanessa to make our stay memorable. She was helpful and responsive to our questions, the cottage was clean, the beds very comfortable and she made local recommendations for our stay. The Kit Kats, bread, local milk, coffee and tea were a special treat. We’d love to come back one day!
