Bardzo przyjemne miejsce. Pokój taki jak na zdjęciach, przed pokojem hamaki i leżaki, można się zrelaksować patrząc na piękne góry. Ishari i Jej syn Vaneesaha są przemili, chętnie podpowiadają co ciekawego zobaczyć. Vaneesaha odebrał Nas z dworca, na następny dzień zorganizował wspaniałą wycieczkę po Ella, dzień później zawiózł Nas do Udawalawe na Safari, które również dla Nas zorganizował. Pyszne śniadania, świetna komunikacja i najlepszy gość z recepcji-piesek Bruno ❤️

A true retreat, nestled in the mountains. think stunning views, tranquility, wild peacocks and monkeys,but not a handy location to sight see from. Map was misleading and Haputhale is an hour away. Rooms are simple with delightful antiques. Staff are very courteous but have very limited English. Food was simple and delicious Sri Lankan cuisine. Make sure you book meals in advance. They kindly arranged a delicious birthday cake for us. Beautiful gardens with architectural features everywhere, lovely views, good swimming pool but lacking any comfortable seating. A truly unique place to get away from modern life.

Die Unterkunft ist vom Standard her äusserst einfach, aber die drei Brüder die sich alle vorzüglich um die Gäste kümmern, sehr viel Lebenserfahrung und Geschick mit Reisenden mitbringen, machen den Ort zu was ganz Speziellem. Wir waren mit zwei Kindern (9 und 7 Jahre) da und uns allen wird der kurze Aufenthalt in speziell guter Erinnerung bleiben. Wir fühlten uns als Menschen wirklich voll aufgenommen. Von uns gibt’s eine herzliche Empfehlung.

We really enjoyed our stay with Sharmini!! She was a lovely host that made us feel right at home, with recommendations on what to do and where to eat. Highlight was the meal she cooked for us and the tea. She helped us coordinate pick ups/drop offs and guided us to the bus station. Made us feel very safe. Highly recommend

Vi havde to fantastisk nætter hos Green Wood. Fra første sekund tog de søde værter imod os med smil og latter, de fik os til at føle os hjemme og velkomne fra starten. Værelset var rummeligt og rent, derudover var der en dejlig terrasse hvor man kunne nyde en kop the eller andet i de rolige og smukke omgivelser. Green Wood er placeret blandt træer og uden støj fra vej, men samtidig i gå afstand fra alt der er relevant i området, så beliggenheden kunne ikke være bedre. Sidst men ikke mindst lavede vores vært det mest fantastisk hjemmelavede Sri Lankanske mad til os, både morgenmad og aftensmad var fantastisk. Tak for et dejligt ophold og for at smitte os med jeres grin, smil og positive energi.

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach traumhaft! Die Unterkunft war wunderschön, mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht und einem super sauberen Zimmer. Wir haben sogar ein Upgrade bekommen, vielen Dank nochmal! Das Bett war gemütlich, und alles war sehr zentral gelegen, keine langen Laufwege zu den Highlights und Hauptstraßen von Ella. Zwar war es nicht komplett still, da in der Umgebung gebaut wird, aber dafür kann der Gastgeber nichts! Und es wurde auch durch all die positiven Aspekte mehr als wettgemacht. Das absolute Highlight war aber Samje und seine wundervolle, herzliche Familie. Er hat sich mit so viel Engagement um alles gekümmert und für jede Situation eine Lösung gefunden. Sein Essen war einfach unglaublich! Wir sind unglaublich dankbar, so eine herzliche Familie kennengelernt zu haben. Wer eine perfekte Unterkunft mit Menschen sucht, die sich wirklich um ihre Gäste kümmern, ist hier genau richtig. Absolute Empfehlung!

Super nette Leute die uns bei allem geholfen haben. Wir haben hier auch eine Safari gebucht, natürlich gehört auch Glück dazu. Aber die Safari war atemberaubend. Wir haben jede Menge Leoparden gesehen, von daher empfehle ich auch diese gleich mitzubuchen.

Very nice stay above the shady lane restaurant. Room was clean, shower worked well (only cold water as advertised). AC worked fine as well. The staff is also very friendly, and the food in the restaurant really good! Shady Lane is in a quite and cosy neighbourhood, away from the busy main street. But still very close to the beach (3’ walk). We had a very nice stay!

Siamo stati benissimo! Ci siamo sentiti a casa da subito. La stanza era molto carina, e la piscina fantastica. Anche lo staff molto gentili e disponibili 😊

We had two nights in this beautiful place. The hosts are very friendly and flexible. You can also Rent a scooter for daytrips which is great. I recommend trying the awesome breakfast and Dinner. A very nice family and hosts.

This is a lovely little place just off the Main Street. The room was clean with lovely little decorations. The staff were so warm and friendly I can’t suggest this place enough Amazing little place THIS is the place to go in Arugambay

It was quite a clean and very spacious place. Mahesh has always been responsive and even managed to squeeze the driver into an extra room quickly. Hayesh at the front office has also been very helpful too. We had a great time there and can be recommended to anyone.

Sumanasiri is an excellent host. He's very welcoming, friendly and helpful. He arranged a guide for a bicycle tour of the ancient city, cooked our breakfast and dinner and drove us to Kandy at the end of our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable and well located; walking distance to the lake and a short cycle ride to the ancient city.

Excellent accommodation close to Sigiriya. Clean, comfortable, and beautiful surroundings. Hosts were really welcoming and provided an excellent breakfast.

Bardzo polecamy pobyt u Salindy i jego rodziny, są oni bardzo przyjaźni i pomocni, zaoferowali nam bardzo dobre śniadanie i kolację, udostępnili sprzęt do wyprania ubrań po safari, które swoją drogą organizują w dobrej cenie, wiec polecam skorzystać z usługi. Pokoje były czyste, klimatyzacja działała bez zarzutów.

Eomal e sua moglie, incluso tutto lo staff, ci hanno trattati quasi come dei figli, sono stati dolcissimi e ci hanno trasmesso il loro amore per quello che fanno, dal trattamento del cliente alla passione del luogo in cui vivono, in una vallata stupenda nei pressi di Ohiya. Colazione e cena ottime, servizio impeccabile, ci siamo sentiti come a casa. Essendo stato il mio compleanno, mi ha organizzato insieme alla mia fidanzata una sorpresa inaspettata coinvolgendo gli altri ospiti, è stato davvero gradito. Escursioni stupende da fare in zona, dal Pekoe Trail agli Horton Plains, per gli amanti del trekking un vero paradiso. Grazie ancora davvero per lo splendido soggiorno ❤️🙏🏻

Totally recommend coming here! The family were so kind and helpful. The home cooked food was some of the best of our whole trip! They helped us to organise tours to Horton plains, Lipton seat and diyaluma waterfall. They also picked us up and dropped us at the train station which was really kind. We really enjoyed staying here and would stay here again.
