Our quaint little River Cottage rests on the beautifully natural marsh grass banks of the Whale Branch River in a quiet rural neighborhood. It is located only 9 miles from Historic Downtown Beaufort and 15 miles from Parris Island Marine Corps Recruit Depot. Hunting Island State Park's sandy beaches, nature tails, and lighthouse tours are a scenic 40 minute drive away. You can swim, fish, kayak or go boating right from the dock in our own back yard. When you arrive; you won't want to leave!

Spacious apartment with high ceilings. The back porch has a fantastic view of Charleston harbor. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, very close to downtown and also to beaches. Private dock, kayaks, bicycles (not fancy) and the possibility, weather and tides permitting, of a motorboat ride around the harbor. This is a very comfortable guest cottage with one bedroom, bathroom with large shower, kitchenette, and living room. Guests will occasionally share the dock, screened-in porch, and swimming pool. A beach pass is provided for Hunting Island State Park as well as beach chairs and towels. "MarshSong" is an inspirational place for anyone who just wants to relax, or explore; a good central point for visiting Charleston and Savannah. Rest, relax, recharge - nap on a hanging bed; sleep well.

The Garden Folly Guest House

Our architect said, “this is NOT a garage, it’s a Garden Folly!” Our Guest House has a bird’s eye view of the rose covered pecan tree and a vista of the marsh and the Wappoo Creek. When we rebuilt our 1930's garage we saved all the beaded siding and pine floor. My husband enjoyed incorporating many design elements and creative ideas. It was quickly becoming the Taj Garage. We decided it was just the kind of property we enjoy when we travel, so, Voila! we decided to share it with you!

Large Guesthouse with Private Dock & Marsh Views

This newly built carriage house is separate from the main house. The cottage is about 1,200 sqft so it very open and spacious and great views of marsh and our tidal creek. We have a separate work area with desk and a massive dinning table if you need more room to work or to gather with friends. Full kitchen, washer and dryer, massive shower, the list goes on. You may not want to leave! Feel free to go sit and have coffee or cocktails on the dock. PERMIT# OP2024-04998

Relax by one of the 2 ponds with water features or on the patio. Take a walk around the pond with Isaac or Isabella (Great Danes)as your guide on our 13 acres. Sorry no pets allowed! There is a a micro, fridge & coffee mkr in ur suite. Cook your meal in our shared kitchen. All linens are sanitized w/ high temp sanitizing wash. You have your own private entrance so come and go as you please! Airbnb designated parking. I live on the 2nd floor should u need assistance !
