Please note: we currently have an outdoor renovation project in process behind the casita. There may be days during your stay in which outdoor work is being performed.

This cozy, quiet retreat (5 min. from the quaint main street of downtown La Mesa) used to be a doll factory. Drink your morning ritual on our deck amongst the trees. 15 min. from downtown and SAN airport. 10 minutes from SDSU. 25 minutes to La Jolla/ beaches and most San Diego colleges and attractions like Birch Aquarium. 15 minutes from Balboa Park museums. Hike Mission trails-15 min. from trailheads. Take a walk up scenic Mt Helix and enjoy the vistas. Flora and fauna abound.

They must be house trained and are not permitted on any furniture. If you instant book, you must contact me about your pet within 24 hours. Smoking is permitted in the outside areas - patio, gazebo, yard. Easy freeway access helps any commute to downtown and area attractions. Having your own vehicle is the best way to get around..

Perfect getaway for the wandering individual, couple, or young family. This rustic casita is surrounded by beautiful mountain and ocean views! Enjoy swimming in the pool, stargazing, lounging, or casual day trips around San Diego (All the amenities are shared with the main house) . Laundry, Fast Internet, Cable TV and streaming services. Additionally, if you like oranges and avocados we grow them on the property (Seasonal of course). We also have a chicken coop and fresh eggs on request.
