We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! Raymond had incredible hospitality, even before the beginning of the trip, providing all the details we needed and ensuring we felt welcome. During our stay, he was always available to help with anything we needed and suggested great places to visit nearby. The house was spotless and very well-equipped, perfect for a large group. The neighborhood is quiet and clean, making it the ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, allowing us to truly be one with nature. Plus, the beach was just a short walk away and was perfect for morning and evening walks. We were even lucky enough to see dolphins! What an unforgettable experience – we can't wait to come back! Highly recommend!

A house with so much character, filled with personal objects and lovely books. We had some chilly days and enjoyed the fireplace and the super cosy living room. Also the outside fireplace and oven are incredible. A place with a soul.

What a fantastic place with great sea views. The apartment is located right across the harbour and main beach which makes it a very short walk to get your feet in the sand. There is a nice area to sit outside and look over the ocean while having a braai. Very nice rooms, bathrooms and kitchen. Felt very safe as the place has an active alarm system as well. We really enjoyed our stay and had a great Christmas at the sea. Hihly recommended.

An absolutely stunning place - we loved every moment at Emma's beach house! This property is quite literally a stones throw from a gorgeous little rocky bay, in which we had two great days of crayfish diving and kayaking. There are sandy beaches a two minute walk to the left, which makes swimming and sunbathing easy, and means that the spot offers something for the whole family. We watched a few impressive sunsets from the patio, and had a great evening at the outside fire. Perfectly set up for families that like to be in the ocean and share time around the fire / dinner table. Easy check-in courtesy of the security company headquarters behind the house (nice to be completely safe, too!). We will certainly be back!

Great views, comfortable and clean with everything you need for your stay.

Ilane was a perfect host, and the unit was beautifully decorated, neat and clean. All the necessary cleaning equipment was provided and the washer/dryer combo is a big plus.

Secure, clean, tidy, spacious and well serviced. Close to beach which was just visible from the outdoor area. Would recommend and would visit again.

Myself, my husband, my parents and my aunt stayed for one night. Beautiful views, peaceful environment, great listing with everything you will need for a quiet get-away. You can go for long walks along the coastline or sit and watch the sun set. I highly recommend this listing and experience. The listing is as advertised and more.

This place is beautiful and more than what we expected!

Beautiful spacious house on a beautiful location. The house is well built so you can enjoy the nature even when the West Coast wind shows up. Smart touches like an airfryer and an ice machine added a level of convenience you don’t often get at rental places. The host was friendly, proactive and super responsive. I will definitely recommend this place. And also add the apartment for even more space.

We had the most wonderful family stay at Doug’s villa! The location was absolutely perfect with direct access to the beach, and the house itself was even better than we expected. Every detail had been thoughtfully considered, from the beautiful decor to the well-stocked kitchen and super comfy beds. It felt like a true home away from home. My team and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The place was pristine and clean. The design was beautiful, unique and had very comfortable furniture to compliment the layout. The kitchen has additional amenities,ample crockery, and cutlery to cater to the needs throughout the stay. The back area is well maintained,neat and free of risk. The indoor pool is cornered off with glass panels preventing possible accidents. Rolinda was an absolutely stellar. She was extremely attentive, provider an amazing handover of the property and was responsive and helpful to any of our needs/issues. I highly recommend this property.

The villa is absolutely superb. It's located in prime position right by the water in serene and beautiful Jacob's Bay and has the most incredible patio to enjoy the view and beauty of South Africa's West Coast. The house, and particularly the patio, is extremely well designed and maximizes the enjoyment of the property. The house is easily one of the nicest in the entire estate. The decor and style is perfect and captures the West Coast vibe. The view and particularly the sunsets and starlight made it difficult to believe that I was only 1.5 hours away from Cape Town. The villa is well fitted with indoor and outdoor braais/barbecue, extremely comfortable patio furniture, a covered swimming pool and the garden is lovely. This is truly a special place and my entire family loved it. It's going to be difficult to find a better place to stay than this on South Africa's West Coast. I couldn't recommend this more highly and Michelle is an incredible host. Perfect 5 star rating from me.

Awesome setting in a stunning location. House is well appointed with all necessities. Check in process was easy with clear instructions, and Mia is very friendly and helpful. Ideal for a peaceful, private and tranquil getaway with family or friends. Rooms are spacious and bathrooms are clean. Perfect for 8 people. It got a bit chilly in the evenings, but it's probably just the time of year and Atlantic breeze. The pool is solar heated, which takes the cold edge off. Come stocked, as the nearest Woolies is 30 minutes away, but basic essentials are available much closer. Would highly recommend staying at this house!

We had a very memorable weekend in Elands Bay and enjoyed every second. The villa was very comfortable and Mr Lapken really looked after us so well! It is the ideal home to rent if you are 2 - 3 families together - it is spacious and the location is perfect. Viktoriya was very accommodating with every request and nothing was too much to ask for. We will certainly be back to the magical Jacobsbay and Swell Surf Villa!
